Back on it this week and trying the #twoweektest #maffetone approach to seeing how reliant I am on carbs, sugar etc. I think I have been eating pretty healthily but I know I do better when I eat fewer white carbs. So let’s see how it goes... 2 weeks feels doable too and I need a kick start after a food and drink fuelled weekend away...

Lunch today for total 5SP. Left the house in a rush so picked this up at Waitrose on the way to work. Half the carton of soup which is just what I need as my mouth is sore after placing new retainer trays last night 😩And I love any salt and vinegar crisps! First post in ages. Simply because I haven’t been able to stick to the plan. I’m not sure why I’m finding it so hard recently. All main meals are on plan but snacking on all the wrong stuff and craving all the wrong stuff specially in the evening. So I’ll just need to try harder and get back to exercise too. So these last few months I’ve not been in the right frame of mind SlimmingWorld wise. I have been going to group but my motivation was lacking. So why now What’s changed I’ve given myself more motivation to get into the plan this time. My consultant has also offered me to join the social team with helping out at groups and promotions so this will give me the kick up the arse I need. I’ve done the plan before and was very successful in my weight loss journey so I know it can be done.
I think many people feel ashamed and judged for piling weight back on. I know I do!! However there are so many accounts out there where people have slipped, some have done SlimmingWorld numerous times. However this journey is for me and I’m willing to share the highs and lows again.

If you’re missing something, seek it. Learn it. Find it. Become it!! Growth is the most beautiful gift you can give to yourself and such an amazing lifestyle to take on.

Breakfast - back in plan 100% to try and undo some of the damage I did at the weekend! Over night oats (HEB) with a muller light (1 Syn) and a coffee
Lunch - leftover cheesy chicken risotto from Friday (1 Syn) tasty tastyyyyyyy 😋
Train snack - felt really nauseous on the train home and needed a salt fix! Walkers grab bag was 13 syns but totally worth it. Ready salted is a seriously under-rated flavour!!!
Dinner - chilli con carne with loads of speed and beans for extra protein, served with wild grain rice. (Healthy A today has been used on milk in copious coffee cos, well, Monday) #slimmingworld #foodoptimising #backonplan
