One of the first things that I needed for our dining room was plant life. I might be a little bit of a #crazyplanady . I knew our dining room had the perfect direct but not direct sunny room atmosphere for plants! The very first plant that I HAD to have was a fiddle leaf fig. I know everyone is obsessed and they’re very trendy. But I just LOVE them and I don’t feel like it’s going to be off trend any time soon. Our little bush has done amazingly well over the last 11 months. I just transplanted him into the bigger base that I had just set his original pot in. He keeps growing new leaves even though I was under the impression he would hibernate kind of in the winter. 🌱 ——> scroll to see his growth progress 💕

Our dining room was very, very dark. Ironically, when we were renting all that I wanted was to paint everything grey. Then we end up buying a varying shades of grey home, and all that I want to do is make everything something else 😂🤷🏼♀️ The grass is always greener, right I knew I wanted to keep the accent wall, but I wasn’t feeling the wall paper. This tin tile is to die for, and it was so easy to apply. I used white dove for my walls. In my opinion it’s the most perfect white. Our dining room is where we find ourselves hanging out all of the time now. It’s so bright and airy!
