Over the next few days we want to share with you 3 Reasons Why True Love is Not Just a Feeling. 🧡
First Corinthians 13:4-7 is often used to characterize the love that one person has for another or what a couple should strive for in a marriage. However, Paul’s assertion here to the Corinthian Church calls to mind the true character of Jesus Christ - Jesus’ PERFECT love for us.✨
It is a love that has the ability to withstand the fiercest of storms and the most barren droughts. It is a love that has the ability to empower us to love even when we feel unlovable, with nothing left to give.✨
The depths of this Jesus-love take on a whole new meaning for those of us who fight exhausting battles in our mind on a daily basis. When we experience difficulties, distress or even struggles with our mental health, we can sink into the revolving thought pattern that our challenges make us unlovable and therefore we will fail at loving others: our spouses, our families, our friends.✨
We fear failure and rejection, so we slowly start to close ourselves off to the very love that Jesus has for us.✨
So here are three things I think Jesus would want to remind us about love:
1. Jesus is love.❤️
And Jesus chooses to love us. Over. And. Over. Again. His love is patient and kind. He is not easily angered and He keeps no record of wrongs. Understanding and accepting this truth has the ability to shatter our internal walls and the false thoughts that tell us that our struggles or difficulties make us unlovable and unable to love others. When we begin to let the love of Jesus flow into our lives, we slowly see that very same love and light shine out into the lives of others!🙏🏼
God has a purpose and a plan for your life and that “set back” you may be experiencing is really just a “SET UP” for something greater! Consider this incredible truth: God thought of us before we ever thought of Him. “According to the foreknowledge of God the Father”, He knew in advance those whom He would draw to Himself. If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, it is because God has chosen you. It’s not because of your own merits or because you have proven yourself worthy. Quite the opposite. If it were about us, none of us would have made the cut.
It's different now from then⠀
When fear and darkness reigned⠀
And I was framed in pain⠀
My soul starved⠀
All spoked turned inward⠀
The hub was gone.⠀
You looked with love upon me⠀
A gaze which blazed its way into my heart⠀
A thread of. hope illuminated my darkness⠀
Such mercy slowly set me free.⠀
Today on the blog (indycrowe.com), diagnosing our personal obstacles to fruitful times in God’s Word helps us fight back with a plan. Different struggles call for different solutions.

“you intended to harm me but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” Joseph’s life was so crazy and it’s so interesting to read about. How his brothers did him so wrong but in the end they needed him. —- my favorite by far
Being so busy getting back into routine after a long week and two busy weekend. But I tell you the most important thing for me even in my busyness is finding time to be in the Word without time is the Word my life gets worse than busy. It get chaotic.
This is my scripture review from yesterday. I do this with the scripture I memorize this week. I look for scriptures that have to do with love and passion to guide my memorization plan for the month. Each week,I memorized a new scripture.

One of the most beautiful things about Holy Yoga is the value of “Living Beyond Ourselves.” The practice of Holy Yoga helps us experience freedom with movement and breath.
We’re reminded that we aren’t cowering in this life, hiding in shame and fear. We’re open-hearted, humble warriors, and free to serve Jesus with all that we are. To live beyond ourselves means we must see beyond ourselves.
In order to see opportunities to serve, we must lift our chins. We must focus our attention to others, notice their needs, and be willing to do the dirty, foot-washing work of true servanthood.
While we enjoy our freedom in Christ, we lower ourselves to love, help and serve those around us. 💕

The Whole Armour of God // Big Faith = Big Shield
'In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. '
A shield, you hold it up infront of you to protect yourself, but a shield of faith How does that work
We know that faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ (Romans 10:17).
We know that our God is the faithful God (Deuteronomy 7:9).
See, the devil will try to overwhelm us with his fiery arrows, but the way I look at it, the bigger our faith, the bigger the shield.
But how do we grow our faith into king-sized faith
Well, it takes time, and persistence, but if we peresvere it is possible, for nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37)
As Billy Graham says, the best ways to grow our faith is to excercise the fruits of the spirit, and to work on each one of them, helping them grow.
With the Armour of God and with the help of God alone, we will be able to stand against the onslaught of the devil.
Let's grow our shield's of faith and strive to grow and deepen our faith daily, do you agree

Tried a little something new for my YouTube channel, yesterday. I decided I wanted to attempt a little Bible study type of video. 📖📽️
I must say it was a fun process and I'm looking forward to sharing the video with you all this afternoon.
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7
"Own your story and let it bring God Glory!" - There is no shame in what God has brought you through. We need to show others and testify the power of the cross. If He did for me, He can do it for you!
Watch this inspiring word from @caitlinzick from week 3 of the #leapintolovestudy. There is still time to join this free bible study, check out the link in our bio for more info.

Regardless of my circumstances, I’ll love me some me.
In Psalm 139, David mentions three points on our relationship with God: details matter (God cares about every aspect of your life), destination doesn’t matter (God’s love will chase you to the ends of the Earth), and deliberate (God created you for a specific purpose).
By the time we get to Psalm 141, it’s important for David to reflect on how God views him. David has a bull’s-eye on his forehead, courtesy of his own son and enemies. He’s also being told how much of a lowlife he is. If David looks negatively on himself, it would be easy to throw the towel in and just give up. However, David takes the approach that we should all take when things go awry and we’re tempted to blame ourselves. He views himself the way God does.
The moment we begin to speak negatively about ourselves—based on other people’s views—is when we’re defeated. God values you, and His thoughts towards you are what you should meditate on daily. You are God’s workmanship. The enemy knows that once he’s in your mind, he’s won. You can handle your current circumstances by changing what you say about yourself.
“Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.” — Psalm 141:3 NIV

The gospel of Mark otherwise known as The Good News! This book is a beautiful account of our Jesus, his life, works and teachings.
Mark was Paul’s accomplice on Paul’s first missionary journey to Christians in Rome. The real aim of this gospel was to bring the controversial ground shaking news that we are to serve God and each other (be servants) and that even the messiah came, not to be served but TO SERVE. You can imagine how well this would have gone down within the Roman Empire, where there was no space for flaws or showing weakness.
As you read Mark, be ready for action and be challenged to move into your world to serve.
Dive into our new blog series for Mark today starting with:
