✨ My journey into intuitive eating...
I’ve been intuitive eating for the last 6 months! (Which interestingly enough is when I have seen the most “results” in my physique... I have theories!!)
I’m definitely going to start diving into some things that I’ve learned as I wrap up my certification 🤓 some of them personal and others that are applicable to all ❤️ .
It’s been a LONG journey in what intuitive eating means to me, the role of macros, and as always, striking a balance. .
I tracked macros for almost four years!! So eating intuitively for 6 months isn’t long in comparison. I’ve had a lot of questions about what each of these means to me and how I feel about both of these methods which I’m just starting to be able to reconcile. As someone that has done BOTH, I feel like I have an expert grasp on the applications of both methods.

Cheesin’ because I stepped WAY out of my comfort and did my first Pilates class today✌️
I love a challenge but that was probably one of the hardest classes I’ve ever taken. Maybe it was because I took it 45 minutes after my cycling class at Ride Society or maybe it was because I am the least flexible person I know.
I felt like my muscle endurance was TERRIBLE. Which is why I’m going back. I am determined to do better next time. It was the same when I first started cycling. I was terrible. Couldn’t get the rhythm down and pedal at the same time. Now I LOVE it.
I have a new goal for my fitness lifestyle and that is to be functionally fit. It’s not about big muscles and quad goals (although I’ll take em) - it’s going to be about muscle endurance and leaning down. I am honing in on my nutrition with @legionath protein (it tastes amazing, no ad just facts) and committing to ZERO fast food. All meals will be prepped for work to stay on track. I have been trying to out- train my diet for so long knowing it doesn’t work.
I can’t wait to de-fluff and put in werk 💁🏽♀️
Maybe it wasn't my best game and maybe it wasn't my best pace but you can at least see the smile on my face! I really enjoyed every minute of the run! ❤️

Bc my acne is healing, my psoriasis is healing, my hair is growing back, I’ve lost 80lbs (but I’ve never been curvy... just big and now small but not perfectly proportioned) and counting... but it’s all in progress.
And far too often, we don’t notice progress because it isn’t a result yet. And far too often these no filter, all natural posts are still beautiful and posed and professional instead of being what they should be: vulnerable.
So here I am. Vulnerable. Unfiltered. Unretouched. Ecstatic about how far I’ve come and how far I will go.
I was hesitant on posting these just cause I’ve been getting “hate texts” recently. They’ve been shaming who I am as a person & what I look like. “I couldn’t help but wonder” if I stopped being myself then they would win. I love who I am, and my body. It keeps me safe and healthy. It has never failed me. I’m not going to let someone who uses fake numbers to put me in a cave & stop my hustle. You should never let anyone’s ugly soul impact your life, your emotions, and mental health.

Well would ya look what we have here- ya gurl finally pulled 305 (it was ugly I know okay) and couldn’t be happier. I’ve been working my butt off to be able to pull 315 and have slowly been lifting 5 lbs more than my max every week. Last week, I pulled 290 but couldn’t get 295. This week I got 295 relatively easy with a very small back arch so I figured I’d go for 305 and sorta got it.. which means 315 is even sooner than I thought 🤯😀. I also finally got some knee sleeves because I’m turning into an old lady whose knees hurt all the time so hopefully those will help
