It’s funny... this rollercoaster I’ve been on...
I was legit PISSED that the snow came early.
Like... great... learning this leg as it is and now ice and snow!
But then that frustration, fear, and anxiety flips a switch—If I’ve learned anything about myself through this recovery it’s that I like a good challenge.
I like to look something head on and tackle that shit. Whether it be putting on a pair of jeans—or walking to my car in the damn snow.
I am thankful that I’m still here to be able to ride those waves of frustration and then come out on top with a “I’ve fucking got this!”
Living in a state of fear is something I often get stuck in... but Alex and I have coined a new term “Put on your Tam cap and live.” I mean she was the QUEEN of not giving a fuck and living her best life.
So even when we’re scared... scared of falling on the ice, scared of failing, scared of being hurt, whatever it may be—we need to try. Because we all know that life just happens. Whether we’re ready for it or not. So we might as well be trying hard things, overcoming fears, and tackling challenges, right
Believe in yourself. It’s fucking HARD, I know. I struggle with it every damn day...
But just remember, whisper quietly to yourself like I do—“Put on your Tam cap and live!”
So tell me, what challenge big or small are you working to overcome today, friends
