You are never too old to love on your mama!! ❤ I have a special place in my heart for #boymoms and maybe that's because I am one myself. Seriously though I always love capturing these moments whether it's at a wedding or during a family shoot. Now often times the guys aren't keen on pictures but bunch right here had so much fun with it!! This family truly is one of a kind. 💙
Picking up a new mom-mobile today! 🙌🏼 We travel a lot so a vehicle that comfortably fits 2 car seats AND our beloved pup was a must! But there is no way you will ever get me to drive a mini van! Anyone else team SUV 😜
This little guy was up all night last night, but I still managed to squeeze in a couple hours of sleep (with this cuddle bug snuggled up to me) and a killer workout so I’m calling it a win🙌🏻
Excuse me while I order this sweater in every color! 🤩 I’ll link the outfit in my story or screenshot to shop in the @liketoknow.it app! #liketkit http://liketk.it/2FV1K
What does the phrase "𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨" mean to you
More importantly, how does it make you feel when someone says it to you 🤷🏿♀️
Do you immediately think, "𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘬 𝘪𝘵 𝘶𝘱 𝘣𝘶𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘶𝘱." If so, I'm right there with ya 🙋🏿♀️
The more and more I dig deep into understanding my self, the more I realize where and how my self value came to be
I would pride myself on being strong and keeping my head up through tough times but in all actuality, that's not what 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨 should mean.
𝐁𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬:
•𝐀𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩
•𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧
•𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦
Society has us so conditioned into believing that keeping it together is the way to go and that showing our most rawest feelings is NOT the biz 💁🏿♀️
That being strong means not showing weakness or vulnerability.
We aren't told that we can being many things: resilent, strong, imperfect, and a work in progress. And that it's ok 💁🏿♀️
My challenge for you... the next time someone is going through a tough time don't tell them to "be strong." Instead give them permission to feel whatever it is that they are feeling!
And the same goes for you too. Allow yourself to be a work in progress 👊🏿
Good morning from me and little man!! Woke up this morning feeling refreshed and ready to get stuff done! Let’s see how long this energy lasts 😅

One month of joy having this little man. He is such a good baby! He eats well and sleeps great! He is now 12 lbs 5 oz and 23” long. #1monthold #boymom #2under2
My little fireman 🚒🔥
Oh my, these last two days have been everywhere! I feel like I haven’t sat down in over 48 hours! ⏰
I mean, yes, I have, for dinner and rocking the baby, etc... it just FEELS like I haven’t! 😴
With a few family members having arrived on Tuesday, we have been non stop, and then more family members arriving last night, whew! One tired mama! 💤 .
I’ll have a full house until Monday, with the party on Saturday! My mind has been going everywhere like a bumblebee on the first day of summer! 🐝
This morning, I woke up early like usual because God knows if I ever needed his rest, it’s this week!
I grabbed my coffee, blanket, and stack of books. 📚- This is usually my devotional, Bible, whichever nonfiction book I’m reading at the time, and my journal!
As I go to pick up my Bible after reading my devotional, I see “Hickory Dickory Dock”. 🐭
I just smiled and gave a little chuckle. 😊
My son’s book must have been placed with mine during the last 24 hours of chaos. It reminded me to remember what all this craziness is for. My son. My son’s first birthday, to celebrate with all our friends and family. How blessed I am! 💞
I definitely needed that small heartwarming reminder to help me get through the next few days with a smile on my face. 😊
I think sometimes the business takes away from the reason of the moment, and I don’t want to forget the reason. I don’t want to miss out on the laughter & memories because I’m too busy making sure everything is constantly clean and perfect for everyone. It can’t be. And it won’t be. So just enjoy.
God knows that I needed to see this childhood book this morning. He knew I needed to stop and just enjoy like a child would. He knew I needed a reminder to BE with my son because that’s what this is all about.
So, if you take anything from my post let it be this: slow down.
Can anyone else relate to needing to slow down 🙋♀️
Ps. **I’ve been SO busy I didn’t have time to tell you guys about my #newblogpost that came out yesterday! It’s about the Armor if God! Go check it out!
This boy right here makes me so proud to be his mom! This morning as he’s walking into school he holds the door for three kids and a teacher before entering himself.
I love the way he is always thinking of others before himself. He amazes me everyday with how big his heart is at such a young age!! ❤️❤️ Keep making me proud baby boy.
Your loving heart will be contagious 😍
Is there anything better/cuter/sweeter than a full belly laugh from a baby
I have been taking things a day at a time for the last couple weeks. Unfortunately that has led to some unhealthy coping mechanisms (mostly poor nutrition or lack thereof as well as neglecting Jesus in my wallowing.) But I'm here. I'm recognizing what I am doing and how it is negatively affecting my overall health physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. Recognizing and acknowledging are my first steps to making positive changes.
I got out of bed before Oliver today. Yesterday I ate 3 meals. Things are starting to head in the right direction. Now for some quiet prayer and squeezing my baby.
Have a blessed Thursday, friends. You are loved.❤
It’s supposed to rain for like 8 days straight & we’ve had half day school all week (+ no school tomorrow!) 🤪 so I’ll just be over here eating my feelings and trying to remember how CUTE my boys were last weekend when we did a family photo shoot with @taylorandersonphoto. 😍💙 I highly recommend good photos to help you remember how great your family is...especially on the not-so-great days when all they do is wrestle, scream and throw things at your head. 😉 #brothers
Nothing ignites my fire for sharing about natural health more than being told “no” for opportunities to share about essential oils and toxin free living. I was scheduled to set up a Young Living booth at the base gym’s fall festival. The gym director ran the list of vendors by the Navy and Marine Corps Public Health Center and was told I could not be a vendor at their fair.
Because it goes against prescribing drugs for every ache and ailment Because they don’t know anything about essential oils so it makes them uncomfortable Because essential oils aren’t profitable to the pharmaceutical industry
Essential oils have been around since the beginning of time. People have always been healing themselves using plants. Essential oils are mentioned hundreds of times in the Bible. Many modern medicines were originally plant based until they found out a way to make them synthetically.
These oils work, and pharma is scared of them.
