🍂 H A P P Y P L A C E 🍁 We’re so lucky to have so many lovely parks in Bristol. This is St Andrews Park, which never fails to make me smile, even when I did endless circuits of it in the rain with a sleeping (or not sleeping) baby in a pram. The toasties and hot chocolate from Fay’s Tea Garden are amazing too. Ahhhh, hot chocolate... Can we start drinking mulled wine yet
This is the menu for our Eats, Roots & Leaves (hands up if you get the reference) vegan supper club in Bristol this weekend. This is our third supper club in our flat and the first totally vegan supper club. Please get in contact if you’d like to come, we’d love to cook for you 👨🍳👩🏼🍳👨🏼🍳🌱🍋🌶🌽🍈🥖

Returning to some Bristol building appreciation... this is the Radisson Blu Hotel on Broad Quay, formerly the Bristol & West Tower which was built in the late 1960s. From 2000, when the B&W moved offices, it stood empty for 5 years, and was close to being demolished. Architecture firm AWW started redevelopment in 2005, so it’s an early example of the colourfully clad buildings that have been springing up in the city in the last few years. It’s never been a favourite of mine (as obviously there’s not enough concrete on show) but I’m appreciating it more these days, especially against a backdrop of blue sky #bristol #bristolbuildings #bristolarchitecture #glassbuilding #bristolhotels #broadquay #bs1 #bluebuilding #bristollife #bristol247 #shadesofblue
