While I still have weight to lose, and angles are everything. In the first photo I was at a weight where no matter how high I put the camera and how ever way I angled my face, there was no hiding the fact that I was 295 pounds. There’s a 60lb difference in these pictures and while I still got my double chin (I can hide it better now looool) I am no longer pre diabetic. I was given the glucose machine and meds & all. I got comfortable at the weight I am now and am slowly gaining so I’m gonna get my head in the game and keep losing!! 200lb is my goal for right now

There is also no such thing as a food that will ‘make you fat’. ❌

There are foods that are useful when trying to lose fat. Vegetables, protein rich foods, high volume, low calorie foods. These sorts of things will help you feel fuller, help maintain lean mass etc. This is why I recommend them so much when ‘dieting’. 👍

However, they don’t inherently cause you to lose fat. You could easily gain fat eating these foods if you consume them in a caloric surplus. ⏫

Equally, there are foods that are more likely to lead you to gain fat, because they are calorie dense, hyper palatable. But outside of a calorie surplus, no pizza, burger, cookie or donut will make you fat. ⏬

It’s a darn site easier to gain fat eating donuts all day, just like it’s quite difficult to gain fat eating just broccoli all day, but it IS possible. 😳

The notion of ‘eating clean’ is something that is really out there- almost everywhere you go! 
Now I’m gonna explain why I think it’s completely fucking pointless🤷🏻‍♂️: Why should we label food or create a damaging relationship with it?! It’s not healthy for anyone to do so!

The only way you should be looking at food is whether they’re more or less calorie-dense and also whether they’re more or less nutritious to help you fit into your calorie deficit! 
As after all, an awareness of calories is key- remember it’s not too many carbs and it’s not too much sugar that’s making you fat, it’s too many calories you’re consuming! 
Why confuse the process?! Bang, and the bullshit is gone!👍🏻

Boom. Really wanted some chicken nuggets tonight but had eaten the majority of my carb allowance today and didn’t want something ridiculously high in calories and fat (ie processed crap).
So I took it upon myself to make my own! 250g of diced chicken breast rolled in flour, dipped in egg and rolled in a mixture of golden breadcrumbs (50g recorded, probably more like 30g actually used) mixed with garlic powder and hot chilli powder. Fried on a low heat until golden and crispy and chicken is cooked through! 
Really wanted some chips or something with it but was already over my carb limit for today, slightly over my calorie intake for today too but still working within the calorie deficit so all good! 
Absolutely stuffed after this, so easy to make, so delicious!!
