What am I making for dinner tonight 🤔⠀
SAVE this POST to see the tips I've been using to help me save time, money and sanity by meal prepping our food and still enjoy delicious, whole foods 🥗🍲.⠀
I was never a meal prepping kind of person. I like freshly cooked meals, well I used to back home in the Philippines. Then I had my family, living our own life and I have to do the 'house play' thing 😄 I have to admit that it felt overwhelming at first then the more I do it, the more I got the hang of it and now I love it!! 👌.⠀
Here are my tips 👇⠀
1️⃣ meal planning is key. Plan out what you're going to serve for all meals of the week. Have a notebook just for this so you can look back on your recipes that you can repeat thru time. ⠀
2️⃣ Have a grocery list based on the meals for the week. This saves time because you already know what you need to get and rids you of getting unnecessary items. Stick with it ⠀
3️⃣ Keep your meals simple. Personally, I stick with proven recipes and I try to bring in 1 or 2 new recipes every week or so to keep the novelty.⠀
4️⃣ Don't be scared to ask for help or tips.⠀
5️⃣ Meal prep. Block out a time that's convenient for you. If you have kids, do it when they're in school or have the husband entertain them while you meal prep or get everyone involved with washing, cutting (with supervision), organizing so it can be a family thing. ⠀
BONUS: this meal that we had on Monday & Tuesday, Salmon Pesto Bowl is one of my proven and really delicious recipes. I roasted the broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, added quinoa and topped the salmon with homemade pesto sauce. Swipe left to see how I made the pesto sauce. 👌😋⠀

Who likes the Wild Wild West 🔫
We visited the town of Tombstone with only about 1500 residents and rich in wild west history in the names of Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday. The street of Allen has the 1800 infrastructure still preserved and some say it is hunted (we didn't feel anything) 🙏 it was a good weekend when we came where the residents have organized skits of their history and got to see the famous Fremont gunfight in the 1800s that involved the Earp brothers. We also stumbled upon this Curiosity Museum where we saw some interesting discoveries, swipe left to see what they are..😮 (be sure to visit this)..surprisingly, this small town greets so many visitors from all over the country!! .
We stayed for 2 nights in Tombstone Guest Ranch where it is quiet and peaceful, staff is hospitable and has good food! I recommend it if you are visiting!! 🤗 The little had the most fun playing as cowboy esp when he got some toy cowboy gun..🤠 It was a fun weekend, definitely different but we made great discoveries and memories! And this place is for you if you're a big wild west fan👌
