Knowing your skin type is important because there are different types of products for different types of skin. So let’s go over the different skin types and how to care for them.
Normal skin types. You have a good oil-water balance and small pores. But, just because you have “perfect” skin does not mean you don’t have to do anything for it. Your goal is to prevent, maintain, and protect.
* Wear sunscreen daily
* Cleanse and moisturize your skin
* Have a good anti-aging regimen
Oily skin types. I know you hate that shiny look, those larger pores, and your skin’s natural way of saying “F*** you” by breaking out all the time. But, lots of people would love to have your skin because it ages the slowest. Your goal is to balance your oil production.
* Cleanse and exfoliate often * Balance your oil production WITHOUT over-stripping
* When you over strip your skin, it will create MORE oil
* You still need to moisturize
* Water-based products work best
Dry skin types. Don’t confuse it with dehydrated skin which is lacking water. If you’re truly dry, your skin lacks enough oil and lipids. You may have tight, rough and flaky skin and your pores are most likely small. Dehydrated skin will look more crepey.
* Your goal is to stimulate oil production
* Protect skin by using occlusive products
* Use less drying products
* Oil-based products work best
Combination skin types. Your skin is tricky. You require more care than normal. You may be either oily/dry, oily/normal, or oily/sensitive. Typically, you’ll have larger pores in your t-zone, this is because you produce more oil there. Acne is also common. You may even have uneven textured dryness on your cheeks.
* Your goal is to balance your oil/water
* Regular deep cleansing and exfoliation
* Water-based products work best
Sensitive skin types. Your skin most likely has pink to red undertones. You tend to flush easily from the sun, heat, products, and touch. This can be a skin condition so sometimes you’re not stuck with it forever.
* You’ll want to use calming/non-irritating products
* Use less time during treatments
* Less friction, product & heat

Teriyaki salad with tomato, carrot, and ranch. Been on crave with the greens lately and its strange cause it's like 1lb of greens ain't enough. Very satiating though I got to say. Salads ain't just leaf and tomato. They can get extravagant. Cant wait for this body sunburn to leave to resume working out. Still though going up north with some of the best friends is worth it all! Sun burns are not bad at all. They mean you were enjoying something. Tubapoluza was grand. Being with the friends was worth all the wildness of the calm moving river.
