Posted a while ago asking if anyone had used these Milwaukee stud tapes. After using them I finally have a review. They are durable as advertised, blade tough as well and handles abuse. Only areas I would change is possibly a more compact style, bigger head on the end of the blade. Great product and I look forward to @milwaukeetool upgrades to this tape measure! •

Change the mail slot plate, paint the lanterns and a few small things made a difference. Waiting for the new door knob and plate to come in to complete the new curb appeal look.
Just finished a nice picnic table for a client/friend. I put splines in the miters to hold them together longer and mortise and tenoned the centre boards into the end board to help prevent warping. Some grk fasteners as well will hold everything together nicely. A whitewash stain and outdoor varnish will keep it looking good for years to come.
These stairs are in a shop, simple yet elegant, the Montagne Entrepôt collection. #carpentry #framing Next we have some bargain basket tenderloin. Also if you find mud flaps that look like this I need them. Thanks everybody 🙏🙏
So, what do you do after an eight hour day at work on a Saturday Well, if you’re me, do you start building a ramp for the trailer out back. If I were a bit more experienced at this (and had a tablesaw) I’d probably be finished building, and have textured the surface, to boot. As it is, though, I’m fairly pleased with my progress, and will be able to finish tomorrow.

Update time!! Holy smokes we’re getting closer and closer to move out date of our apartment, and with no other lease in the books it’s #skoolieconversion or bust! Walls are just about done being insulated with rigid foam (1.5 inches thick) and a whole bunch of #greatstuff. I totally understand the name, it’s a lifesaver for all of those cracks and crevasses. We also scaffolded the walls by attaching 2in by 2in strips so we can attach the walls a little later! ...
Subflooring is officially done too! We used as much of the original materials as possible because why not! But there were some pieces that were a little too waterlogged or dried out so we had to replace them. ...
Finally, the ceiling and scaffolding is just about complete! We again used rigid foam (.5 inch thick pieces x3 so we could bend them). We also put up scaffolding for the ceiling. After A LOT of research, I decided to sacrifice an inch of ceiling space so I didn’t have to worry about bending the 1in by 2in strips. This gives us a length-wise base to attach the ceiling panels and walls to that is safe and SUPER secure! ...
I’ve been contemplating making videos of all this great stuff. Being a teacher teaching in a flipped classroom setup (I can explain that later) videos are something I’ve thought about making. What do you think Would seeing videos of my process help more than pictures Let me know what you think in the comments below!
