This is by far my favourite way to use Gelli Arts® Mini Plates!
My pattern madness continues as the pattern possibilities with the mini plates are endless and you can keep building up as many layers as you like!
My top tip would be to let the paint dry in between colours so that it doesn't lift too much of the paint when you pull a second print. But if you like to have a full on grungy print, go ahead and have fun!
Have you tried any of the Gelli Arts® Mini Plates
Would you like to see me make more videos I would love to hear what you would like me to create!

I’ve been reading Lin-Manuel Miranda’s book “Gmorning, Gnight” and this page got to me. “Good morning.
Lead with gratitude.
The air in your lungs, the sky above you.
Proceed from there.”
•There are days when I feel like my art career isn’t moving forward like it should and then others when I sit back and rest in gratified for what it is. Today is a gratitude day. I was updating my CV and I have been in 11 shows since March. That is progress. That is something to be grateful for. I’m grateful for a partner who believes in me. I am grateful for the support network around me. Gratitude is a great way to ease myself out of self pity. What are you grateful for
Good Morning!!! Today our girlie has school off so I will spending some time with her and doing a little painting! Last week I shared this piece. After seeing this painting someone ordered a large 24” by 24” canvas to be painted similar! I’m excited to paint this for her and see it in a larger size! * Did you know that when you see a painting here , unless it’s a custom, you may request them in larger sizes! Most of what I share here are minis but they can be painted to statement piece sizes!!! .
Have a lovely day! PS~ don’t forget Calendars are coming!!!
Fun, leafy semi abstract shapes inspired by my frequent visits to Mount Coot-tha botanic gardens
Stark contrast to the other landscape that will always put fire in my belly. The outback & scrub!

Well hello! Hope you’re having a good day.
It’s amazing how much can change in a year. This time last year I was training for the Dublin marathon with less than a week to go, we were living with the in laws, the house was a shit show & stress levels were beyond what I ever imagined.
We were being bombarded with worry from all corners of our life. We thoughts we would never see the day we actually moved into the house & it would lie as a rotting mess, whilst paying the mortgage and not being able to move out of the in laws. There was space for us there, but no space, if that makes sense.
I was just about managing to keep my little business afloat, the creativity & running was a huge outlet for me. It got me out, gave me a focus & kept my mind positive & on something other than our day to day reality.
This morning I’m sitting here in our house, in our own space, doing my work, feeling all the freedom & joy that that brings. Every morning I had my mantras & positive affirmations in order to visualise us getting here. Because the alternative, was not going to be an option in my mind (well that was most days!)
It’s amazing what a difference a year does.
Follow those things you are going after, do all you can to achieve them and focus on the mindset of what it will be like when you do have it. Mindset first me was everything during this time. It was a choice, it was either going to destroy us, our family, our marriage, our dreams or it was going to fuel us. I’m glad I chose the later, but bloody hell looking back I know there were days when we could have chosen a different way out of that situation which would have had all kinds of different outcomes.
If you’re in a slump, personally, creatively, career wise, parenting remember what brought you there, what fuels you, what you want & that you will move through it. It’s a slump, a season, a moment in time & it will pick up & you will pass through it ❤️
