DOES YOUR WOODBURNER LEAK SMOKE INTO THE ROOM AT TIMES
THIS CAN HAPPEN FOR SEVERAL REASONS.
Weather (Strong winds or very cold)
Exposed property location (Hills, Seafront etc)
Lack of ventilation
Sometimes your woodburner which usually behaves its self, but on occasions puffs smoke into the room, usually when lighting the fire it is probably because of a pocket of air has formed within the flue and has stopped the draw of the smoke and now is blocking the exit route, meaning the smoke has nowhere else to go but out of your stoves air vents. 😡
To prevent this from happening you can either use an extra handful of kindling and place it evenly around the firebox or put a sheet of newspaper flat on top of a piece of wood inside the stove and light it in each corner. By doing this it creates a sudden burst of intense heat up the chimney, which will dislodge the air pocket and allow the smoke to exit the fire in the correct manner.
To stop this from happening in the future, leave your air vents fully open on your stove when you are not using it, allowing air to move freely inside the flue instead of it sitting in one place and creating a stale air pocket.

👉🏼 Ingredients You will need
~ 3 medium courgettes / zucchini’s
~ 200 grams Medium vine tomatoes
~ 3 Pasture raised / Free range Chicken Breast (aprx 350 grams)
~ 2 medium avocados
~ 1 cup broccoli sprouts
~ Spices : Ginger + Turmeric + Black Pepper + Cumin Seeds
1. In bowl add chicken and then spices.(Optional marinade here for 20mins with some lemon juice to protect against AGE’s)
2. Preheat Griddle pan to high & preheat oven to 180c
3. Slice then courgettes & grill either side till caramelised.Remove.
4. Add all the chicken breasts to the Griddle pan and leave for 3 Mins before turning over and repeating to other side.(The more you move and touch them the higher chances of them sticking to the pan. We want a crust aka mallard reaction here but not too much as excessive Charring is Not Optimal)
5. Add the pan to the oven and throw in the tomatoes & grilled courgettes.Leave in for 10 Mins until cooked through.
6. Slice up an avocado & wash the broccoli sprouts.
7. Plate up with the Veg first and meat then avocado & sprouts.(Optional extra calories - EV Olive Oil or some olives!)

1 small onion cut in half
2-3 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
12 ounces spaghetti or pasta or choice
1 15 ounces jar 15.5 oz roasted red peppers, drained
1/2 cup milk
Fresh chopped parsley for serving
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
Place cut onions and garlic cloves on baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Roast in the preheated oven until tender and cut surface of the onion is golden brown, about 25-30 minutes.
When cooked, transfer the onions and garlic to a food processor. Add the drained roasted red peppers and blend until everything is evenly combined and smooth. Set aside.
Cook pasta in salted water according to package instructions.
Transfer the pureed sauce to a large skillet and cook for a few minutes until the sauce bubbles. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then add milk to the skillet to thin out the pasta sauce. Whisk to combine.
Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet. Toss to combine the pasta with the sauce to combine
Serve with fresh parsley, if you desire.
