Winter is so, so close! I always dread winter until I remember ugg boots and trackies and feather doonahs and scarves and jumpers and crock pots and lots and lots of hot drinks. And who am I kidding, I live in Queensland so our winter is pretty mild 😆. I really LOVE my Lovely Lady teapot and it’s in daily use around our house. At 1.2L, it’s one of the biggest cast-iron tea pots available in Australia and I’m so proud it’s ours to offer to you 😊.

Vintage cast iron pans are by far my favorite to use in the kitchen. They are lighter they cook more evenly and have the best non stick surface you’ll never cry about. Restored this beautiful Wagner Ware #8 never get tired of using it. 🍳🤘🏻 #vintagecastiron #castiron #castironpan

@cookingwithcrisdr nos deleita con su Crema de Zanahoria y Jengibre 🥕 y nos comparte la receta:
•
Hacer un caldo casero de vegetales con apio, cebolla, zanahoria, auyama, laurel, tomillo, ajo, sal y pimienta. Probarlo, ajustar sabores. Reservar. En una olla sofreír 1/3 taza de cebolla blanca finamente picada, 1-2 tazas de zanahoria pelada y picada, 1-2 dientes de ajo rallados, 2-3 cucharadas de jengibre fresco rallado, unas ramitas de tomillo fresco y cuando todo esté cocinado agregar 2 tazas del caldo de vegetales. Dejar hervir hasta que se desbaraten todos los vegetales fácilmente con un tenedor. Agregando más caldo si es necesario. Licuar o procesar la sopa (dejando un escape para el aire caliente) hasta que tenga consistencia cremosa. Agregar unas gotitas de jugo de limón o de naranja. Ajustar sal y pimienta. Colar y servir caliente. 
Todos los ingredientes son estimados, porque si te gusta con más jengibre (o cebolla) la modificas a tu gusto! El punto es experimentar en la cocina.

Protein 48 | Carbs 19 / Fibre 9 / Sugars 11 | Fats 21

👉🏼 Ingredients
🐓 140g Chicken Breast skinless (Pasture Raised / Free Range)
🥑 60g Avocado
🍅 100g Cherry Tomatoes - Sliced in half
🥒 150g Courgettes / Zucchini - spirlaised
🌶 100g Bell Peppers - roughly chopped
🥥 1 tsp Coconut Oil
——
👉🏼 Recipe
1. Preheat Oven to 180c, Preheat cast iron pan to medium. Add 1/2 of the coconut oil
2. Add the chicken breast (ex skinless side down) and allow to lightly brown. Leave for 4mins then move to the side.
3. Add the remaining oil & Add the Courgetti / Zoodles + Tomatoes + Bell Peppers to pan, sauté for a few mins and then add the chicken on top of vegetables
4. Place the pan in the oven for 10 Mins to cook through. Check internal temperature of Chicken.
5. Whilst chicken in oven, mash avocado with splash of lemon juice, salt + pepper + chilli flakes
6. Remove pan from oven and then add the mashed avocado & add some torn tarragon over the top & Enjoy 😉
