Heres Beauchamp Fitness long time client & friend @glencherb performing a unilateral chest super set from the upper body group training class. Unilateral work is amazing for creating structural balance in our bodies from one side to the other, the majority of us are very unbalanced from side to side using our dominant side to perform tasks throughout the majority of our lives. Integrate unilateral work into your programming to truly become strong, functional and balanced. This super set is performed by completing both exercises on one side of the body, taking a small rest and repeating on the other side—repeat for a total of 4 sets per side. The single arm flat dumbbell press carries a tempo of 5-1-1-0 which means 5 seconds on the eccentric, 1 second pause in the eccentric stretched position, 1 second on the concentric and finally 0 pause in the concentric contraction position. The offset push up with shoulder tap is to be controlled through out the movement and i recommend a slight pause when you tap your shoulder, ensuring proper positioning before starting your next rep. Try supplementing unilateral work into your daily programming and you will definitely see the benefits and transferable progressions into your bilateral lifts.

Been working a lower incline, I really feel like it hits the whole chest just right. So I decided to see if I could hit 8 reps, going up 10 pounds from the 70’s.

70’s were an easy 8
80’s also easy
90’s were a little rougher 
And of course, the camera fucked up when I did the 100’s 🙃. But I did manage to put it up for 6. 
The progress just keeps coming. 🔥

Wasn't particularly happy with depth on my top single. I finally figured out my balance in the hole though and squats moved really well so that's exciting.

Little slow with my hips and off balance forward halfway through the rep on deads but that's ok, I was caught a little off guard by how quick 94% moved to be honest. SO excited that deads are back.

Good day today. Squat PR. First time pulling over 500 since August. Overall v pleased. Wasn't particularly happy with depth on my top single.
