✨ Priorities ✨
(This may trigger some people)
Do you tell yourself or others that you “don’t have the time” to exercise
In saying that, answer these questions:
❓Do you sit at home of a night time and binge watch tv
❓Do you sleep in late most days and procrastinate once you get out of bed
❓Do you drive yourself to every destination you need to go to, regardless of the distance
If you answered yes to all or even 1 of these questions, then it’s not that you don’t have time, it’s that you don’t make time 🤷🏼♀️ We have 24 hours in a day, granted you are:
❗️Sleeping for 8 – 9 of them
❗️Working 8 – 9 of them (if you have a full-time job)
So out of the 24 hours in a day, you consume 16 – 18 of them in work and sleep, what are you doing with the other 6 - 8 hours out of your day 🤔
To achieve a good workout, you only need 1 hour a day
That’s 1 hour out of the 6-8 that you aren’t either sleeping or at work, so why are you telling yourself that you don’t have the time 😐
It’s not that you don’t have the time, it’s that even though you want to make these changes in your life, whether it be regarding weight loss or not, you don’t prioritise it as being as important as watching your soaps on tv or staying in bed 🛌
It is a harsh reality to face, but once you start taking responsibility and admit that you don’t prioritise your health and fitness goals, the quicker you can start to work towards a plan to change this 🙏🏻 I will admit I have done this a lot in the past, it’s easy to just skip exercise, tell yourself that you will go tomorrow, but the more you do that, the more you push it further and further back 😫
My little tips to help combat this:
✅ Get out of bed an hour earlier, if you are determined than you will make the change
✅ Take your gym clothes with you to work & head straight there after work, don’t detour home
✅ Get to the gym by walking there instead of taking your car, eco friendly & your getting your daily steps up
You can make the change to live a healthier life, you just need to decide if you want to 😊 💕 “The Change Starts With You”
