My soul was imploding with a fierce vivacity that I had never experienced before. Fill the void. Fill the void. Fill the void. Those three monumental words acted like a firing squad in my body, allowing my heart to seep all of the ignored emotion locked up inside. I began thinking about how I had never in my life been on an adventure like the one I was returning from. When I was little, there was no room for play, no time for myself, and no outlet for my emotions into nature. Before embarking on this complete immersion into nature, my mind was high-strung and wired for a downward spiral fully saturated with depression, self-deprecating thoughts, and an overall under-enjoyment for my desolate excuse of a life. And before I knew it, the flash flood was trundling down my face.

#medicmonday - 9 Proven tips for storing your medications on the road.
„Store in a cool, dry place.“ How does that look like outdoors Due to the length this is a 3-part series. Today, in part 2 I will talk about waterproofness. temperature was last week's topic and shockproofness will be published next monday. .
Waterproofness: Packaging something waterproof usually stands in direct opposition of accessibility. Gladly, with most Over-The-Counter (OTC) meds you are not in a hurry. Small heavy duty ziploc bags are the best of both worlds. In addition also cheap and easy to replace. Use them to store a unidentified insect that has bitten you or a accidentally cut off finger tip, so I consider them als multi purpose too. .
5. Keep the pills in the wrapper if stored right it will keep them dry and they are easily identified.
6. Only break them down into typical doses(eg. 2x500mg paracetamol) and keep the generic name of the medication readable on the back
7. Sort medications either by kind or by useful combination and package them in that way with a small ziplock bag (eg. Pain, GI, Allergies etc.)
Bonus: Don’t even try to remember all the details of all the medications. Have a little quick reference on the dosages, indications and possible contraindications.
Where and how are you storing your meds at the moment
A picture from over 10 years ago...my first glimpse at Yosemite valley. Every time I go I am blown away by its beauty and grandeur.
Sometimes you just need a banjo break.
