The Happy Hour is incredible at @atriumlosfeliz and its every day from 4-6. This drink was not on the HH menu but so delicious. This was the If it Ain’t Broke: rye, oloroso (which is a Spanish Sherry), dry vermouth, sweet vermouth. All the food was happy hour though: oysters with negroni vinaigrette, prawns in Clamato sauce, and their burger (only on happy hour menu) with their secret blend and spices and house made cheese whiz to dip it in. My oldest son and I share birthdays just a couple days apart. So while he and his 12-year-Old tweeny, hormone ridden friends are downstairs in my basement, I’ve brought The Lab upstairs. This is my recipe that I have named The Raspberry Beret (RIP Prince). It’s a raspberry mashup of a rye Manhattan, and it’s delicious if I say so myself. It as delicious as the homemade lobster Mac Amanda is making me for dinner... Cheers!
* 4 dashes chocolate bitters
* 2 oz rye (@oldforester )
* 1 oz raspberry liqueur (@mariebrizardusa )
