Wavefield, the naturalistic creation by #coventgarden in #london went all out on #flowers to enliven this historic yet as relevant as ever center of the city by mixing pots, period decor pieces and framing their displays with blooms of all sorts
Every day I tend to check out what the verse of the day is on my Bible gateway app. And today it was:
Galatians 6:2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
And it reminded me of the smallest this @shad__knight said in our last episode of Table Talk. He said, "you don't need to do anything out of the ordinary. Just be patient. Just be yourself. As long as you know that everything you do is coming from a good place, before you know it... Those walls will start breaking down." We live in such an interesting time where SELF is really emphasized and encouraged so much that living a life of service is considered weird or unhealthy for your mental health. Yet, how great is it to be comforted by a friend How great is it to be able to connect with people of like mind Don't you feel loved And how much greater is the feeling to give that love For me, it is an honor to love because God loved me first.
To receive a the gift of Love in abundance and be able to give to others is such a blessing. None of it has to be extravagant, but it should come from the heart.
So I want to encourage you this evening and for the rest of this week, to give someone a random act of kindness. It can be as simple as a 'hello' or just listening to them share a story. When we help others carry their burdens, we fulfill the law of Love. Matthew 22:36-40

Who are we without our labels As preparations were made to the space where I’d be teaching today, I looked out the second floor window and witnessed a beautiful hawk with wings wide open. Every part of my being longed to sail on the wind with my feathered friend. When we close our eyes in circle and hear the breath knowing I am inhaling your exhalation. Tuning into all the splendour of our being, beyond words, description or comprehension. It’s an expansive feeling...do you feel what I mean #questions #unity #beyondlabels #roundpegsquarehole #oneness #yogini #community #selfrealization #srf #flight #ontario
A man who lost his wedding ring in the ocean after going for a swim over the weekend claims he was reunited with it through a fortunate encounter involving a small fish. Dan turned to Facebook, pleading with anyone in the area to let him know if they found it. Miraculously, less than a day later, Dan said, someone did. Gary and Emma Spiers, spotted a small black fish that was swimming in a tiny pool that had formed after the tide lowered. Underneath the fish was Dan’s ring.

Have we told you that our big inspiration for CH’s concept is the german architecture and design school: Bauhaus It’s no coincidence that our name is Collective Haus. The architecture of our space in Penha de França was the motto for this inspiration and the rest came for our love for this “movement”.
By the way, congratulations to Bauhaus that celebrates this year 100 years of existence.🎈
So many mixed feelings about #pinktober and breast cancer. I came across this photo of me from earlier this year and it really captures how I feel. I wear pink proudly some days because I am excited that people care about us and there is so much good that comes out of all the pink. But from the moment I was diagnosed, I also hated pink everything and hated the way I had seen breast cancer portrayed because it wasn't me and it sure as hell wasn't an accurate representation of what I had to deal with. Breast cancer isn't women in their 60s, smiling and wearing pink at a breast cancer walk. That isn't any cancer. It isn't easy, and neither is finding silver linings from the experience. Breast cancer is a disease that happens to otherwise healthy young people who have no gene mutations, like me. It is also a disease that kills more than 100 women and men every day. So here's my compromise. I'll wear your pink, but in return, let your pink be a reminder of the real message: fuck cancer.
