...brings a week of content. Lately, I’ve realized how important it is to get some r&r in every Sunday. A little rest and relaxation with some Netflix and an evening stroll through the city helps me recharge and prepare for whatever the week throws at me. Happy Sunday y’all! 🙌 How do you normally spend your Sundays
I eat cake because it’s somebody’s birthday somewhere! Happy Birthday to whoever you are! 🍰 #blondeandbluelovescolor

I had no idea it was #nationalicecreamday until after I had gobbled this whole thing! I have to say ice cream is one of my favorite things in the world. Did you celebrate #nationalicecreamday today! It’s not too late!
"You are what you do, not what you say you'll do." ⠀
That quote has been the cover photo for my 'words to live by' Pinterest board for as long as I can remember. I'd scroll past it several times a week when searching for that night's recipe, only to stay in the exact same place day after day. Ideas and "talk" have never been an issue for me, but actually *doing* That was another story. ⠀
It was a lot easier to stay comfortable. To only go after things that I knew I was capable of achieving or surround myself with people I already knew.⠀
But you know what being comfortable doesn't provide Growth. Passion. Grit. Confidence. Purpose.⠀
If you're feeling boxed in right now, I'm gonna challenge you -- try something new. You'll never regret taking a chance on yourself ✌🏼⠀
**P.S. THANK YOU for all the encouraging comments and messages on my last post. It truly means the world to me and I’m so excited to continue sharing more of this journey ✨
My thrift store silver platter find was the perfect foundation for the details at yesterday’s wedding! I don’t think I’ll ever not obsess over the details on a wedding day! 💕
There’s truly nothing like getting to be in a room full of women on fire to change the world!! Together, we rise.
Thank you @theholliscompany for putting together SUCH an amazing event. ❤️
I don’t just do weddings, I do seniors too!! It may not be as often that I get to capture this special milestone for seniors, but I love the opportunity!!
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. – Ephesians 4:32
After way too much school holiday indulgence, Betty’s Burgers, buckets of popcorn at the movies, three birthday cakes for Ted...... I need something healthy!!!! I’m going to add extra veggies, snow peas and Chinese broccoli, recipe below 🐟🥦
Atlantic Salmon, Soba Noodle, Sesame, Ponzu & Asparagus, serves 4
4 x 200g skinless boneless atlantic salmon fillets
1/2 cup ponzu sauce
2 tbs grated ginger
1 tbs sesame oil
270g soba noodles
2 bunches of asparagus, woody ends removed, cut into 1/3rds
4 spring onions finely chopped
1 packet roasted seaweed snacks to garnish (cut into strips)
1 jar Green Street Kitchen Kimchi - Thai chilli + galangal
Preheat oven to 220 degrees Celsius. Bring a large pot of water to the boil on the stovetop
Line a high sided baking tray with baking paper. Place salmon fillets on tray. Leave a gap of 2cm between each fillet
Mix together ponzu and ginger. Pour over salmon and bake for 10 minutes (medium-rare), 12 minutes (medium), 15 minutes (well done). Only pour over the marinade as you are about to bake the fish as the ginger will begin to cook the fish if done in advance
Once the water is boiling add soba noodles. Cook for 2.5 minutes then add asparagus for a further 30 seconds. Drain and toss through sesame oil
Remove salmon from oven. Pour the pan juices over the noodles and stir through. Serve the fillets whole on top of the noodles or flaked through
Garnish with spring onion, kimchi, toasted nori sheets and extra ponzu sauce on the side #annabelsrecipes .

Greetings from the woods! Taking some needed family time to recoup, revive, and restore so I can show up as my best self. Because you know what they say..... self care is the new (and best) healthcare. :

Edits by me!!
Currently researching YouTube tips and how to literally do anything on there. Y’all put the idea in my head, so I’m going to try it. 😬
My vision is to make videos like my insta stories, but somewhat edited and more put together. Maybe gather bits of each day from the week and compile it into one video with some time-lapses and artsy things.
What do you think I’m very excited about🎉
Yay for new things!
5 years ago I photographed these two fresh out of high school. Now they are getting ready to tie the knot! I’m so happy to see such an in love young couple continuing their lives together. I can’t wait to celebrate with them on their wedding day next year!
I love photographing brands. 🥰 This was from a shoot I had done in Rockport, Massachusetts for @sailormadeusa.
I often compare my work to others and forget about what have I accomplished so far. I have a full time job and still make time to do freelance photography and social media on the side because I enjoy it. Not many people can say their passion is also their work.
I am hoping to take on a few more clients over the next few months. If you know of anyone in need of brand photography, lifestyle/blog photography, or social marketing assistance, let your girl know. 🙋🏼♀️🤳🏼📷👩🏼💻
As per the weather, I’d love to share how I was by the beach or at the ice cream shop or sweating my 🍑 off working out for two seconds outside. But no. I’m here in the a/c watching Sleepless in Seattle and not mad about the Christmas setting. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Anyone else have equally exciting heat wave plans 🙋♀️
I am learning everyday to let the space between where I am and where I want to be inspire me and not terrify me. 🧡
Spending my Sunday recovering from my long and wild weekend with my friends! Gathering some ideas for some upcoming content, and putting the finishing touches on my giveaway collab with @thepurpledoorboutiqueky @kg15photography and my bestie blogger @journeyinchic Make sure to turn on your post notifications to get the full scoop of the giveaway! It’s a good one y’all! 🙌🏻
In other words I’m going to need a lot of coffee this week with everything coming up. If you haven’t tried @spencersbg then you’re def missing out! What’s your go-to coffee drink and from where 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
When Moses was nervous to lead the Israelites out of captivity, he asked God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me, 'What is his name' Then what shall I tell them" God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.'" -Exodus 3:13-14 NIV
This is how confident God wants us to be in our identity. “I am who I am.” And, when you know who you are, there’s no need to explain, over compensate or convince others to get you or love you.
How well are you managing knowing you are enough🙋🏽♀️💬💕 #women #empoweringwomen #selflove #selfawareness #tiffytalks😘 #GetEngaged #insideout

Just the face of a mama who hopes her baby will sleep through the night because after a very full (and happy) weekend - Zach and I NEED the rest! We very intentionally gave ourselves plenty of time to adjust to life with J before jumping back into weddings, and yesterday marked our first one (postpartum). To say I was nervous would be an understatement; I’m certain that new motherhood altered my brain, and I was terrified that I wouldn’t be able to manage the stress, or that my creativity would be muddled. Luckily, that absolutely was not the case - but if I’m being perfectly honest, I have been contemplating as to whether or not we should continue to take on weddings at all. Finding balance is challenging. Juggling a small biz while simultaneously conquering careers we’ve worked hard for all while starting a family - there’s just not enough time in the day. On one hand, I want to be present for my baby while he is small, eliminating the distractions that don’t absolutely need to be there. And yet. there is such a special place in my heart for the couples who trust us to capture their wedding, and I can’t yet bring myself to close the door on that just yet. I’m really hoping I’ll find clarity soon. In the meantime, I’m going to enjoy the residual warm and fuzzies from yesterday’s nuptials. It was a stunner, and if you haven’t seen the preview in my stories yet, you’d better run. 💕

“The greatest mistake in the treatment of diseases is that there are physicians for the body and physicians for the soul, although the two cannot be separated.”
My life has been incredibly full for quite a while. And while the manner of busyness has left me a little less time for some of my artistic endeavors, the amount of time I’ve spent in the car has lead to being able to listen to podcasts even more. And let me tell you, between the amazing things I’ve been learning about energy and shifting my energy, as well as the bits and pieces I pick up from nutrition and herbalism, and learning to “see” better....my life has felt full in such a good way, as well. There’s been a flow of intriguing changes. And I’ve continued to try to keep myself aware to an extent of the happenings in this world.
Which brings me to something I want to discuss today.
When was the last time you were able to look at your own history for your source of inspiration This can take many forms, but let’s talk about some basics. Are you white Even if you don’t know your family history, you likely have further back roots in Scandinavian and/or European history. Have you checked out the cool nutritional and energetic histories of your ancestors How much do you know about Celtic or Gaelic practices and the emphasis on the “in between.” Or how about the Scandinavian connection to the water and using healthy fats for massive nutritional benefits.
Are your roots deeply Mediterranean This is a beautiful example of a history of utilizing fresh foods, spices, and plenty of tomatoes.
These are just three (simply for space) of SO MANY examples of the beautiful nature each of us can bring to the table.
So when a people group says “stop, this is sacred,” you do not have to understand why. You do not even have to try to adopt another’s culture. You can respect and recognize that just as you have roots in ancient practices, so too do many others. Learn from each other. And give credit where credit is due especially when a culture is not your ancestry and history. And don’t forget that you have a beautiful history to learn, too....even if you don’t know your family history.
Toddlers are impossible to take pictures of, and I don’t know how any of you do it. Moments before this photo was taken, she rubbed herself all over a gross spiderweb-covered corner of this doorway, and I literally screamed as I pulled her sweater off. Saving your kid from spiders has to automatically give you a million points in the mom game though, right If you look closely enough, you can see her prepping for the jump off of these stairs. She squatting in pretty much every other photo. 🙈🙈🙈
Ella’s Jane onesie and blush linen bloomers will be in the shop this Friday at 1:00, whether she cooperates for photos or not!
I've been taking this lil' gem of advice a LOT lately, mainly in the gym. 🏋🏻♀️ If at first you don't succeed...
Happy Sunday 💕 I had a well spent weekend with this little guy. Today he’s 5 months old. I just want to pause time right now. I love this stage where he is all smiles, he looks at me with intrigue, and loves kisses ✨.
Have I told you how good the lighting is in this bathroom at my Mom's house Because it. is. amazing. 😂
Y'all, I FINALLY added another case study to my website. It has—no joke—been on my to-do list for over two years, but I finally took some time away from other business tasks recently to knock it out and get it published. If you'd like to learn more about the Sweet Life Planner Club website I built for Laura of @iheartplanners, mosey on over to my website (or hit up my bio link) and check it out! 💕
Hey y’all! I’m Lauren - the stylist behind Painted Blonde!
Painting and Blonding are my two favorite services so I combined them in the name to showcase what I do 💕 I also work at @paintedbeautystudio - another inspiration to “painted” being a part of my brand. I love the place I work and it’s a huge inspiration behind what I do + a perfect space that brands and flows well with my own vision.
I love transforming brassy, stripey and high maintenance blondes into blendy, lower maintenance blondes that looks like it belongs on you. My blondes are all babylighted, painted, root smudged and glazed to perfection. My attention to detail, curated formulas and time spent on each client is what set my blondes apart.
Hair painting is my therapy. Balayage gives me life. It’s fun and creative for me to paint each section and create lightness and depth where it needs to be so it gives a truly sunkissed look to the hair. Balayage can be super subtle, high contrast or anything in between. I love creating a customized finish for each clients’ hair painting. No two balayages are ever the same. When my paint brush is in my hand, I feel full of inspiration + most at home.
My blondes love that they can go 8-12 weeks between services with easy growout and minimal brassiness. My balayages usually go 12 weeks - 12 months between paintings because it’s absolutely as low maintenance as you want it to be.
If you’re interested in becoming a client, I am always accepting daytime appointments. Follow the link in my bio to fill out my new client form then book directly from my page or website using my StyleSeat. It’s that easy! Advance booking is suggested atleast 6 weeks prior to your desired appointment. If you need something sooner, message me and I’ll put you on my cancellations list! “Invest in your hair. It’s the crown you never take off.” 👑
