Why we want to forgive ourselves and others Don’t try to forgive for the sake of being a good person -a person with good morality- or because we should because that’s the right thing to do, rather because we realise that the things that we unconsciously holding on to, the grudges, the pain, the anger, the vengence, the bitterness are actually what keeping us heavy, living in set of limitations, blocking us from living peacefully, more creatively, lightly, feeling loved, joyfuly. 🌸
We might think that we have forgiven ourselves, others or things, but see our reactions when we feel triggered in whatever events. Keep in mind over and over that triggers is our bestfriend, our teacher, because they point in a deeper sense what we are not free yet, and in this case what we are not finished yet unconsciously. Being honest about our truest reactions will set and help our minds clearer.
Yet, don’t force yourself to forgive instantly, rather I invite you to cultivate an understanding towards the reason why we want to hold on, to make space to acknowledge our truth. We will find a hidden beliefs, an unconscious misperception that we’ve been carrying inside our mind.
Once we are awaken to this misperception, forgiveness happens naturally. A deep compassionate feelings will arise for yourself or others. Letting go will happen easily. The first person you need to do a compassionate act is you and then it’s easier to extend it to others, happy tuesday 🌸🌸🌸🔥🔥🔥

Yesterday we came across this lovely story from the USA of a sanitation worker who has gone above and beyond to help an 88-year-old woman.
His kind gesture of carrying her trash can up to her driveway was captured on a Ring camera outside of Opal Zucca's Independence home, was one her daughter just couldn't ignore. Opal’s daughter Colette often monitors movement around her mums house. On Tuesday, she noticed a trash collector walking with Opal, arms locked, carrying her trash can up her driveway. In January, Zucca tripped and hit her head while trying to retrieve her trash can.
"She took eight stitches to the back of her head," Colette said.
The same man seen in this video was there that day and since that day they have formed a special friendship. Our Kindness Kards have this task as one of the kindness messages in the deck - This story shows how this small task can make such a difference in someone’s life 💖 message us to get your own set of kindness kards.

I genuinely believe that it is in giving that we receive, and as such, for my upcoming birthday, I'm asking for donations to @bethell_hospice_foundation . Hospice has always been an area of care that has moved me and shown me the meaning of true compassion. I've chosen this nonprofit as their mission is to aid individuals (and their families) living with the challenges of life-limiting illness. Their dedication to also providing complementary therapies, such as therapeutic touch, to their clients in the community is phenomenal.
To keep the doors of Bethell Hospice open and all programs and services available at no cost to residents, community clients and their families, Bethell Hospice Foundation must raise over $1,000,000 each year! I hope you'll consider contributing as a way to celebrate with me. Every bit helps!

It's easy to talk about "Columbus Day" because it requires little of us. What about Thanksgiving "Americans still celebrate the slaughter of my people". I can't unhear that.
Our lives are for us to create - one decision at a time.
