Happy transformation Tuesday!
Besides flex 💪🏻 Friday, this is my second favorite day!
I think it’s an amazing way to reflect back on your journey and see how far you’ve come and how much you have changed. 
It takes a lot of determination and consistency both mentally and physically to make the choice everyday to improve your health.
So today I hope you reflect on your journey, doesn’t matter if you are just hitting started or you have done this for years, take time to think about how hard you’ve worked and be proud of yourself for what you have accomplished.

While I’ve been on contest prep, Delayne has been working on perfecting a “reverse” plan for me (or anyone who has been in a caloric deficit for a long period of time) so that I can get my metabolism up some and not gain too much weight post show. The word MOBILITY is tossed around so poorly in the fitness industry 🙅🏼‍♂️ people constantly mistaking passive flexibility with active mobility 🙋🏼‍♂️

Passive work = Passive results.... BUT passive flexibility is a precursor to mobility.... it is a necessity‼️

Once that passive range you want is achieved, then we work on the mobility of that joint by strengthening the range we have acquired 💪🏼

Here I can push my arm (Passive) so my GH joint internally rotates a full 90 degrees 📐 You must activate the scapula so no compensation is able to occur and cheat the movement

I’m not able to turn internally on my own quite as well (Active) which is quite normal. I still have great mobility in the joint with a small gap between the two 👌🏼It’s not often you have the same active control as you do passive

Tough morning as I got up quite a bit earlier than I wanted to, but I do feel like my sleep quality was good......just wish I had a bit more on the quantity side... Either way, it is what it is and I must get ready to move. So today, after I have consumed my pre-workout drink, I am ready to rock.

Lets talk about why you suck at finishing anything.

Was that too harsh?

Forgive me but lets get to the point. 
Maybe you wanted to wake up early everyday and you made it 1 or 2 days before you quit. Maybe you starting a decluttering challenge and make it the first week and then just quit. Maybe you started this new diet and you made it to day 3 then you quit.

Before we change our patterns we need to learn WHY we are doing them. Doing all the things I mentioned above aren't that difficult but to accomplish them it does take consistency. 
So why can't we be consistent?? Because we have an ALL or NOTHING mindset. You usually don't just quit because you feel like it. You quit because you couldn't be perfect. 
So this is REALLY what happened. You woke up early 3 days in a row and slept in the 4th day and called it a fail and gave up. You did week 1 of the decluttering challenge then Monday came and you got busy and forgot to do the tasks for that day so you called it a fail and just quit. You got through 3 days of your diet and went out to eat and ate way more calories than you were supposed to and called it a fail and completely threw in the towel. 
Sound about right?

Consistency is key to success. BUTTTT perfection is NOT key to consistency. Consistency can look like planning to work out 4 times this week but you only got to 3. It can look like missing a day or 2 of a challenge but not giving up just jumping right back in. This doesn't mean go make up what you missed it means literally just jump back in. If you eat bad on your diet 1 day it doesn't hurt you. What does is saying screw it I will start over on Monday and now your eating bad Thursday-Sunday. 
You know, I try to wake up at 4 or 5am Monday-Friday. Last Monday I felt like i didn't get enough sleep so i turned my alarm off. I did beat myself up a little but guess what I didn't do? I didn't throw in the towel for the whole week. Tuesday and Wednesday I got up early. That 1 day didn't set me back.

If you think you failed just start again.

It Comes Down To One Simple Thing “ HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT” 
Going through my Prep Files when me and the Bros @fitgbade and @silverbacksam_ was talking about preparation for a comp last night and reflecting on how much I put into my last prep with my coach @teamsavagerocks 
Made me realise it takes more than having the best physique or the best build to win a show, because being on stage and taking part in a comp is a different thing but winning a show comes with GOOD PREPARATIONS, STAGE PRESENCE, POSING, SHREDS, CONFIDENCE and how bad do you want it.

Are you ready to give it all during your prep, give it your best when you feel like giving up, push through when peak week hits you as you know it’s the most important week of your prep.

I’ve been on both sides of the table and learning from my mistakes and failures so I can be better than I was yesterday.

The week started and I'm already tired. Working in the industry isn't an easy job. I was on the break today at work and I was sitting and looking at myself on the shinning surface of the boilers. My bones were aching and I was experiencing a bad headache. The weekend just started but I'm already tired. 
I don't know whether this internship is going to help me in building my concepts and experience. I was literally lost and was badly feeling the tiredness. But you know what, what makes me feel better every time? What makes me feel relieved about my future? 
If I'm working hard today, I know I'll receive the reward in future. If my bones are aching because of tiredness I'm going to relax tommorow. 
There's ease after every hardship. Why we get tired of the hard work when we know that we are going to take the reward of it. Sweeter than we've thought. I know you, yes you the one who's reading this. I know you're also tired but got get disappointed. There's something big for you in the end. Just don't loose hope. You know what the filter is called? “Slumber” ... how fitting as I literally woke up, found my workout clothes through all the baskets of unfolded laundry, put them on finally, and then looked at my watch and decided to take them back off. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ No I didn’t go back to bed-but boy do I want to. 😴😴😴 No- instead I realized that I actually woke up late and missed my timing to get my workout in this morning by about 5mins. So... I’m rearranging-because timing means EVERYTHING in this house. You miss the mark 🎯🎯🎯by a few mins and your day might get flipped upside down! However- that being said, I’m extremely fortunate that my schedule can be flexible enough-still bothers me that I’m sitting down instead of just waking up 10mins earlier, or setting my clothes out last night, grabbing my runners and putting them where they needed to go, filling my water up and throwing it in the fridge... etc etc etc. All the things I COULD have done last night so I’d be prepared this morning. 👍
👉Routine people-it’s so incredibly important, but CONSISTENT routine is even more important for your success. ✅✅✅ So where does that leave us? Throwing my morning routine into that journal- nailing that down once and for all, and starting my day with gratitude first with my #starttodayjournal. Oh and of course my tizzy and some good ol’ H2O. Life happens folks... let it happen for you and NOT to you. I’ll get a handle here - don’t you worry 👌

O assunto de hoje foi bem abrangente, o primo falou sobre alguns conceitos super interessantes, como o "the leverage of success", que demonstra que o "quem" é mais importante que o "que", o "como" e o "quando", ou seja, o mais importante para se alcançar o sucesso é quem pode te ajudar a trilhar o caminho. A pessoa certa te ajudará com todos os demais aspectos. 
O primo também falou sobre "o círculo de ouro", do Simon Sinek, do livro "Comece pelo porquê", e a ideia é que o porquê engaja pessoas, pois não é sobre o que você vende ou faz, mas sobre por que você faz o que faz, a causa que você defende, qual o valor por trás do que faz. As pessoas costumam se apresentar dizendo o que fazem, quando deveriam sempre começar pelo porquê, dizendo qual seu propósito, pois é isso o que lhe dá valor e é isso o que as pessoas compram, é o que inspira. Em seguida devem vir o "como" (como atingir o objetivo?), e, por último, o "o que" (o que você faz ou vende?). O primo falou ainda sobre a diferença entre chefe e líder e sobre por que sabemos o que tem que ser feito mas não fazemos. O assunto de hoje foi bem abrangente, o primo falou sobre alguns conceitos super interessantes, como o "the leverage of success", que demonstra que o "quem" é mais importante que o "que", o "como" e o "quando", ou seja, o mais importante para se alcançar o sucesso é quem pode te ajudar a trilhar o caminho. A pessoa certa te ajudará com todos os demais aspectos. O primo também falou sobre "o círculo de ouro", do Simon Sinek, do livro "Comece pelo porquê", e a ideia é que o porquê engaja pessoas, pois não é sobre o que você vende ou faz, mas sobre por que você faz o que faz, a causa que você defende, qual o valor por trás do que faz. As pessoas costumam se apresentar dizendo o que fazem, quando deveriam sempre começar pelo porquê, dizendo qual seu propósito, pois é isso o que lhe dá valor e é isso o que as pessoas compram, é o que inspira. Em seguida devem vir o "como" (como atingir o objetivo), e, por último, o "o que" (o que você faz ou vende). O primo falou ainda sobre a diferença entre chefe e líder e sobre por que sabemos o que tem que ser feito mas não fazemos.
