📑🌐💡 3 Approaches to Tackle Stress
Have you ever considered what stressed you out most, and why
Stress can cause all sorts of behavioural and psychological issues as most studies have shown.
A recent poll conducted by YouGov revealed that out of the almost 5000 respondents, 74% felt so stressed they have been overwhelmed or unable to cope, while 46% reported that they ate too much or ate unhealthily due to stress. Furthermore, 29% reported that they started drinking or increased their drinking, and 16% reported that they started smoking or increased their smoking.
📌💬💡 Try the following 3 Approaches to Tackle Stress;
When you exercise on a regular basis, you lower your body's stress hormones, such as cortisol, while your body simultaneously releases endorphins, which will improve your mood and act as natural painkillers.
While exercising on a regular basis can help you to improve your mood, it can also improve your sleep quality. Yet, you do need to get enough sleep, as according to the NHS “Most healthy adults sleep for an average of seven to nine hours a night. As you get older, it is normal to need less sleep.”
🌳🌳🌳3. Enjoy more time in Nature
Going for a walk in nature, whether it is at the beach or in your nearby park can lift your mood, as you expose yourself to sunlight. According to a recent study from psychologists at Iowa State University, walking for just 12 minutes lifts up your mood.

On the 11th day of this month, let us understand the 11th out of 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN.
The Goal - Sustainable Cities and and Communities: Make cities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
From the burst of human population on Earth to the Scientific & Industrial Revolutions, we have spread and habitated almost all parts of the planet.
This resulted in rapid urbanization to accommodate the masses. Unfortunately, the profound growth took a toll on our natural resources, so much so that as of August 2019, we have already exceeded our consumption of natural resources for the whole year!
But every cloud has a silver lining. We can still make changes in our life to control the damage and contribute to making our cities more inclusive. Let's start small, let's first make our home inclusive. Let us ensure that we try to reduce wastage in our homes, segregate it properly, reduce the use of platics, conserve electricty, and more. From homes this idea will spread to societies, communities, cities and eventually the whole planet, thus helping us achieve UN's Goal of having Sustainable Cities and Communities.
We would be sharing more of such 'alternate lifestyles' that would assist you in adopting a sustainable lifestyle. Please let us know if you would be interested.
