Happy Tuesday pretty ladies! It continues to be fairly chilly in the morning and cold with the wind! So dress warmly! Today's outfit features a lace blouse that may be too feminine for some so I layered my leather vest over to completely change the feel. I added a tweed jacket on the outside to complete an elegant chic look!

I'm so close to finishing my Christmas shopping! 🎅🎅
But all the Christmas is getting put away at the shop this week! Next time I open...February...I'll probably have a lot of spring out and be craving warm weather!
I am NOT a fan of cold weather!

VWA Artist in Residence Profile @christomoya // Chris Tomoya is an interior designer and registered builder specialising in experimental furniture, lighting and handcrafted interiors. Chris designs and fabricates small and large commissions, as well as experimenting with his own pieces of furniture and lighting.
Most recently, Chris designed and fabricated the Four Pillars Gin display at Myer Bourke Street, a large popup store as part of Myers' Christmas Giftorium. The design features just two materials: copper and forescolor, placing the emphasis on the gin bottles on display.
Inspired by the beautiful rock facades of Petra Jordan with their columns carved from millions of layers of sandstone, Chris began the design process with a solid block of material that he iteratively manipulated by splitting it into layers, followed by carving out entry points, spaces and joinery. The slender copper 'pillars' are the backbone of the entire structure and hold up the horizontal layers, reinforcing the Four Pillars Brand.
Finishing touches include hand gilded copper leaf four pillar logos, with the help of @hellotomatostudio In total, 84 lineal metres of copper and 35 full size sheets of Forescolor were used to pull of the huge display. Swipe across to see some of Chris' design and build process, and head over to Myer Bourke St over the next couple of weeks to see the impressive display for yourself!
