Bar Jamaica has a long and storied history. Opened in June 1911 down the street from Academy of Brera, Jamaica quickly became the "Café of the Artists" in Milano. People gathered to exchange ideas, distract themselves with friends, and enjoy an aperitivo, like those pictured here in 1953. Bar Jamaica remains on Via Brera to this day, a testament to Italian culture. Make sure to stop by next time you're in Milano!

Although, we are already home from New Orleans, we are still in disbelief over our Spirited Award win for Best Podcast or Online Series at @Tales_of_the_Cocktail. When we look back at how far it has come & how many places the show has taken us over the years, we can’t help but think about how we could have never done it without all of you & the support that you have shown us. Whether you have been a long-time listener since the first episode or are a more recent subscriber, we want to let you know that we appreciate each & every one of you for taking the time to tune in each week. You are the reason that we take the time & effort to produce each new episode, so none of this would be possible without you.
We also want to send out a huge shout out to everyone that has ever been a guest on our show. We know that our guests can be extremely busy (after all, running award-winning bars, distilling spirits, writing books, etc can be exhausting,) so sitting down with us to talk shop can be a lot to ask.
Yet so often, just the simple act of them sharing their stories, philosophies, and experiences, it can help to spread knowledge throughout the community and allow others to benefit from their insight. With that said, much love & respect to all of you for the continued support & we look forward to always giving you new reasons to stay tuned & get engaged.
Barrels are full and aging for opening.
Cocktails to include a Boulevardier and Manhattan.
