FINALLY got to try the @n2australia gelato after seeing it all over Instagram while searching for some sweet treats and it did not disappoint 🍨 i opted for the flavour “burnt by my salty ex” - otherwise known salted caramel custard gelato with crystallised sugar on top (creme brûlée style) plus I got a chocolate ganache syringe because I’m extra asf 🍫 the liquid nitrogen churned through the flavoured milk gives the gelato such a smooth consistency that just melts in your mouth 🤤 was a huge fan of nitrogen gelato after trying it in Singapore end of last year, but it was basic and I’m all about being extra 🤗 always on the hunt for yummy ice cream/gelato/sorbet spots so if you know any in Sydne, Brisbane or the Gold Coast lemme know!!!!

Monday can (Meringue) Kiss my A$$. This week is going to be full of applying for jobs, prepping myself for another semester of uni and lying on the couch to recover from “ladies issues”. Ugh🤦🏼♀️. Lucky these easy AF meringues are here. Don’t ask me how many I’ve eaten today. It’s an indecent amount. 💋
What you’ll need is a 2:1 ratio of egg whites to sugar. I used 70g whites (2 leftover from hollandaise making), to 140g caster sugar. 💋- heat oven to 200•C, toast the sugar for 7 mins on a baking paper lined tray 💋- meanwhile whisk together your egg whites into peaks - when the sugar is all toasty, take it out, then the oven down to 100•C (keep the door open to cool down) 💋- whisk sugar one tbps at a time into the eggo mixture, mixing well between each addition
💋- keep whipping for 5 mins after all the sugar is in
💋- pipe onto a tray with a small hole piping bag
💋- for the poor people in the house 🙋🏼♀️, you can use a sandwich bag with the corner snipped. It may not be as pretty (👆🏻 see pic above), but it does the trick! 💋- cook in the oven for 30-40 mins or until they easily come off the baking paper 💋- eat 15 at once 🤷🏼♀️
