Recipe testing an oat loaf... it’s hard work but someone’s got to do it. 🧡 I love sharing recipes with you guys, especially when I’ve tested and retested to make sure it’s tasty but still healthy and full of goodness. That balance is what I aim for in most of my cooking and how I feed my family. Crispy prawn katsu and avocado uramaki roll 🍤 🥑 This was very delicious! This prawn was so crispy and had such a fresh taste. and satisfied my cravings. The only downfall was the little amount of avocado. However, some pieces had a lot more! Thanks @supersushichingford this was amazing.

My new love❤️. I used to shy away from this fungus🤨; now I’m a huge fan. This was my 1st attempt to recreate the baked stuffed portobello mushroom I enjoyed as an appetizer the other night. So good😋, stuffed with a mixture of spinach, sun dried tomato, garlic, panko, and a bit of Parmesan. Once again I am going ga ga over yoga. My dancing body craving for an hour long stretching. So difficult to find a yoga style that suits you. That’s the problem with variety and abundance. In India there is (or used to be) one yoga and it suited perfectly to all bodies. There were no 15 style or 50 value propositions from goat to bikram. And yet it got the work done. Kept you peaceful and flexible. Anyways I may or may not find simple yoga that fits my taste but thankfully I can always find/make food that is perfect!
Here is some simple food from 3 different parts of the world. And together they are perfect. Some appe, with rice batter made at home. Being fermented, savory and made from whole grain they are healthier than their Dutch cousin. Although slightly less satisfying because they aren’t a dessert. So appe served with guacamole and bacon stripes for pre-yoga breakfast. Not really a breakfast of yogis but makes me feel peaceful nevertheless.

I've been on a #batchcooking mission today. So far I've made bolognese, chilli, soup and turkey keema. Tomorrow I'm making a chicken korma, chicken kung po and a lamb bhuna 🙈 rapidly running out of room in the freezer! But feeling so organised and productive 👊🏼
And to top it off, no Sunday night blues for me because I'm off tomorrow 🙌🏼

Eating healthy is a lifestyle choice eventually it just becomes second nature. It doesn’t mean you don’t treat yourself to treats every now and then it’s all about moderation. I’ve been following a nutritious healthy eating program for quite a while now and I’ve noticed a difference in the way I feel and look. I’m never hungry, I’m not depriving myself of anything and I feel great! Recently I started a vegan lifestyle and I am loving that too!!
