Egg whites and an arbonne shake which is fairly balanced and full of vitamins.

Hoy os traigo una idea más que una receta ❤️ Os he subido a ‘stories’ y destacado en el apartado de trucos la idea general de cómo componer vuestros platos para que sean súper nutritivos y equilibrados (consulta mis historias destacadas si aún no sabes cómo componer tu plato).
En este caso más del 50% del plato está compuesto por verduras, los cereales integrales los tomé al acompañarlo con pan casero integral de espelta (DEJADME EN COMENTARIOS SI QUERÉIS LA RECETA) y en forma de proteínas saludables las gambas, los anacardos, edamames y soja secos y salsa de soja 🍵🥢 COMBINACIÓN MÁS QUE PERFECTA! •

De verduras utilice la base de espaguetis de calabacín en crudo (es como más los disfruto), yo utilizo un espirilizador que compré en Amazon y me funciona de cine 🥒👌🏻, zanahoria también en crudo (cortada muy fina con el pelador), brócoli hervido y cebolla que calenté un poquito en la sartén con un chorrito de AOVE. 
Cuando el brócoli, la cebolla y las gambas estaban listos, lo mezclé todo en una sartén a fuego lento con un chorrito de salsa de soja (SIN AZÚCAR) y los anacardos ¡QUÉ DELICIA! 😱

Para rematar el plato, un puñadito de semillas de sésamo, mezclamos bien y LISTO PARA COMER!!! 🤤🔝🔝

Se trata de un plato muy saludable, hipocalórico, súper sencillo de preparar y RIQUÍSIMO 🤗🤗👏🏻

My new Monday morning routine 🤪🤦🏻‍♀️ I said I’d share a bit more about my RA journey so here goes nothing!
Week 2 of my medications now, so Monday mornings will be my day to set everything out. It’s confusing because I have different things to take on different days and I can’t mix them up or I’ll feel pretty shit 🙈 so, naturally I’ve created a spreadsheet 🤣
So far, I don’t feel any different. I’m on a high dose of steroid, I don’t quite know how each of the tablets help RA so I guess I need to do some research about that. Also, no side effects as yet so I am VERY happy about that.
Have tried to stay active this past week but I’ve really struggled with my hips shoulders and wrists 🤷🏻‍♀️ hoping to be able to find a balance there. We’ll see.

It's not as good but it's still good and I can enjoy them without the guilt 😀. Made a spicy bbq sauce for dipping. I also made a mango salad with rocket and lollo as I had a ripe mango on hand.

CURRIED CAULI RICE w SAUTÉED KALE, SWEET POTATO & PINENUTS 🤤 how’s that for your meat free Monday If you haven’t tried cauliflower rice yet you’re missing out. I make this at least once a week and it’s so delicious and a great base to create variations of flavours. This one is full of beautiful spices like cumin, paprika and chilli and I also love doing a more Asian based with coconut aminos and tamari . Add some sautéed kale , roasted veg & toasted like nuts and enjoy. You can also stir through some eggs, chickpeas or tofu for protein if you’re having as a main meal. The other upside of the end of placement is no longer having to eat lunch in 30 minutes - I am such a slow eater so 30 minutes was not enough! There are some serious benefits of being a slow eater, including improved digestion and greater meal satisfaction.

If you’re a speedy eater who is keen to be a little more mindful at meal time try eating in a distraction free environment, take a few deep breaths before you start eating, and put your utensils down between bites to slow your pace 🐢

Last Friday I finished my community placement, and said goodbye to Tupperware lunches for the next three weeks! Today’s lunch was a green veggie packed brown rice bowl with a beyond generous serving of hummus and a side of extremely unattractive chili tuna 🐟 _ The other upside of the end of placement is no longer having to eat lunch in 30 minutes - I am such a slow eater so 30 minutes was not enough! Our family have had their fair share of problems these past few months, like many families do. So balancing my health has been tricky, very tricky indeed and I’ve felt rotten quite a lot. But, and there is a big but! I have managed to turn the volume down on my pain and fatigue many times using simple techniques and my biggest tip for anyone who is struggling with pain, fatigue, anxiety, depression is get your greens! Add greens to as many meals as you can, watercress, kale, broccoli, lettuce, spinach, cucumber 🥒, avocado 🥑 . It’s not a miracle cure or anything like that but it does turn the volume down. One reason for this is that greens contain magnesium, a mineral which helps to relax you, which in turn helps to reduce muscle pain and anxiety and also helps you sleep. You can still takes your meds doing this, it won’t get in the way, but it’s a really easy way to help ease symptoms and empower yourself. Don’t think it’s pointless as you’re “too bad” give it a go even on days you feel like it’s pointless.
I had a wedding to go to this weekend and thought I was never going to get there with the pain I was in due to having a lot more commitments in my life’s at the moment but I did this along with increased meditation 🧘‍♀️ and I got there, but most of all I had a great time 🙌. I won’t lie, I wasn’t without pain or anxiety but I achieved something that I thought 5 days prior was going to be impossible. Life is for living whatever hand you’ve been dealt, we owe it to ourselves to go for it! ❤️🍃🍃🍃🍃.

Gestern gab es bei mir eine leckere Low Carb Lasagne 😋. Die Nudeln wurden durch Zucchini ersetzt, die Béchamelsoße durch körnigen Frischkäse und es wurde fettarmes Hack verwendet. Ever feel confused when it comes to looking for a sugar alternative? It's no wonder with so many on the shelf.

Here are 3 of my favourites:

RAW HONEY
One of the oldest natural sweeteners, honey is sweeter than sugar. Depending on the plant source, honey can have a range of flavours, from dark and strongly flavoured, to light and mildly flavoured. Raw honey contains small amounts of enzymes, minerals, and vitamins. It’s also said that consuming local honey can help build up your immunity to common allergens in your area by introducing your body to the bee pollen.

STEVIA
This leafy herb also known as honey leaf has been used for centuries by native South Americans. The extract from stevia is
approximately 100 to 300 times sweeter than white sugar. It can be used in cooking, baking, and as a sugar substitute in
most beverages. Stevia does not have a significant effect on blood sugar levels, making it a preferred choice for diabetics.
Stevia is available in a powder or liquid form, but be sure to get the green or brown liquids or powders, as the white and
clear versions are highly refined. Some people find that stevia has a bitter or medicinal taste.

COCONUT SUGAR
RAW Coconut sugar, also known as coconut palm sugar or coco sap sugar, is made from the sweet nectar of flower buds of the coconut palm. The coconut nectar is heated until the water evaporates and then the caramelized nectar is dried and ground into granules. Coconut sugar is a good source of potassium, iron, and vitamins. Although it provides the same amount of
calories and carbohydrates as regular sugar, it has a lower glycemic index, providing a more stable release of glucose into the blood.
