On 12th of October 2018, the royal wedding of Princess Eugenie and Mr.Jack Brooksbank took place at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. And what was special about this wedding is the fact that it was entirely plastic-free.
Eugenie is an ambassador for Project 0, that works to protect and restore the ocean inspiring people to make sustainable choices to save our oceans from drowning in plastic. Being passionate about the problems of excess plastic use, Eugenie also spoke on her Instagram about the limitations we shall put on the amount of single-use plastic in our lives. She also revealed that her home is completely plastic free.
It is very important to stay always true to your values especially on a big day, so Eugenie and Jack decided to make their wedding plastic-free as well.
Would you also go plastic-free on your wedding Would you like to get the tips on how to do that

The Recycled Wedding Boutique helps couples reduce their impact on the environment by providing one-stop shopping for wedding decor, dresses, and other wedding items. The average wedding produces 400 lbs of garbage and 63 tons of CO2. Together, American weddings are equivalent to 8.3 million cars driving on the road for a year. The Recycled Wedding Boutique donates a portion of its proceeds from each event to a different non-profit.

Not only is this a cute idea but it’s also cost effective AND eco-friendly. 🌱 I don’t particularly think that there is a need for each guest to have their own individual menu - it’s not like they have to search through to pick what they are eating like at a restaurant. They’ve most likely already chosen! Besides, they end up in the garbage at the end of the night. Try doing one menu per table instead and save on costs while saving some trees! 🌳 (via: Pinterest)
Mondays should come with a keg stand.
I love Sunday weddings because 1. They usually end early which means I get to go home before 1:00 am. 2. Because it typically consists of a small and intimate group which is totally my bread and butter. ❤️
I despise Sunday weddings because 1. Monday is always the next day 😂 That’s all.
I am struggling today, but I am so thankful for my sidekick yesterday @lynseyluephoto . She really takes on the event as her own. She makes super useful suggestions and adds that photographer’s eye when I can’t decide where something should go. She even has good advice for couples when cutting their cake and how to stand. It’s so awesome having a completely different perspective and she works HARD AF. #communityovercompetition
Coordinating is not like J-Lo made it seem. It’s messy. It’s stressful. You might end up covered in food scraps and frosting because *someone* insists on scraping everything into a compost bucket. Sometimes you are setting up pretty flowers, and sometimes you are bussing dirty plates. It’s hard work, heavy lifting, and details, details, details! But I wouldn’t trade it for the world. And I’m so grateful for an amazing team to help me!
Also this caption has nothing to do with the photo. This photo was taken at a wedding last weekend in my little hometown. They might do things a little differently there, but it definitely warms my heart to no end!
