There's a lot of shame surrounding women's bodies. It's been there through previous generations, across cultures and continues to be there through ours. I've often thought twice about posting images that show "more skin" in fear of being judged as "easy" or "loose" or , worse, "okay with being objectified". This, even though I've been brought up, educated and surrounded in fairly liberal environments.
It's through continuous conversation with my parents, friends and people I love and care about that I recognized the shame, challenged it and continue to overcome it. From being the tomboy who would not even wear a sleeveless top to posing for the cover of @maxim.india , I have reinforced my belief that it is all about perspective.
So let's respect and celebrate femininity in all its glorious forms.
