Love. Sweet love.
Laura & Ben traveled all the way from the UK to wed on a downtown Las Vegas rooftop. Adding to the fun was Laura’s amazing veil with pink highlights.
I had a wonderful time tonight capturing this little family’s portraits! Tomorrow I will have a sneak peek of their cute little baby boy, Bodie!
Isobel and Chris.

Today my mind is taking me back to the Redwoods. The most peaceful place I’ve ever been besides the Arctic Circle. - - -
On another note, yesterday I got to shake off the end of season with lots of creatives from the wedding industry at the One Big Epic Holiday Party in Annapolis. I got to catch up with many friends and meet new ones that I had been wishing to meet in person. Being an entrepreneur and working by yourself every day can be tough sometimes, but when you get together with your community, you realize you're not entirely by yourself, you're a part of something bigger. We are a community! I truly believe that high tide raises all ships! Each person in that space yesterday, is a badass crazy talented and successful entrepreneur and the energy in that room was incredible! We finally got rid off our cameras and partied together! Thank you all for being a part of my life. I don't know how I'd do it without you!
Looking into the eyes of your person as you're about to start your brand new chapter together. It gets us every single time! 📷 @emily_nicole_photos
For everyone who doesn't know the story behind this incredibly magnificent monument in the heart of India!!
Taj Mahal, A story, that although ended back in 1631 is considered a living example of eternal love.
It's the love story of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal, two people from the course of history who set an example for the people living in present and the future to come. .
In 1607 when strolling down the Bazaar, Shah Jahan caught a glimpse of a girl hawking silk and glass beads. It was love at first sight and the girl was Mumtaz Mahal, who was known as Arjumand Banu Begum at that time. At that time, he was 14 years old and she, a Muslim Persian princess, was 15. After meeting her, he went back to his father and declared that he wanted to marry her. The match got solemnized after five years.
Shah Jahan became the Emperor and entrusted Arjumand Banu with the royal seal. He also bestowed her with the title of Mumtaz Mahal, meaning the "Jewel of the Palace". Though Shah Jahan had other wives also, but, Mumtaz Mahal was his favorite and accompanied him everywhere, even on military campaigns. In the year 1631, when Mumtaz Mahal was giving birth to their 14th child, she died due to some complications. While Mumtaz was on her deathbed, Shah Jahan promised her that he would never remarry and will build the richest mausoleum over her grave.
It is said that Shah Jahan was so heartbroken after her death that he ordered the court into mourning for two years. Sometime after her death, Shah Jahan undertook the task of erecting the world's most beautiful monument in the memory of his beloved. It took 22 years and the labor of 22,000 workers to construct the monument. When Shah Jahan died in 1666, , his body was placed in a tomb next to the tomb of Mumtaz Mahal. This magnificent monument came to be known as "Taj Mahal" and now counts amongst the Seven Wonders of the World. Advertising*

Boulder. Where its sunny all the damn time except for this one day when we did Char + Shuba's first look up on Flagstaff mountain and it was cloudy, moody MAGIC. 😍😍 -
In other news, I learned a hard lesson this morning about not taking cold meds and mucinex on an empty stomach and then trying to skin up a mountain at 12,000 feet. If you were at Abasin this morning and happened to see a girl looking like she was about to hurl all over the side of High Noon That was me.
Fortunately after skiing back down and eating a breakfast sandwich the size of my head, I felt totally fine and was able to get back at it. I rode the lifts for a little while and had a damn blast! -
My body may not have been so into the uphill skiing today but it gave me a good excuse to do laps from the lift and work on loving skiing down the mountain as much as I love skiing UP it. ;) -
It was a good morning ... but then again any morning that starts with sunrise in the mountains is a good morning.
Happy Friday everyone! Hope you all have awesome weekends!

On this Friday, two years ago, at just about this exact time, I was in the back of a cab on my way to meet @carpenterljensen. We were scheduled to get married/elope at 1:30 pm, at @popwedco in Washington DC. I was in DC working as a travel nurse in Labor and Delivery at @gwuniversity Hospital for just shy of 12 months, and man, we packed a lot of life and love into that year. My wife Lisa and I will forever be grateful for the wedding Pop Wed Co gifted us as an act of love philanthropy and social action in response to the bananas election that had just occurred. With their help, we were able to get married while Love—aka our marriage heros @michelleobama and @barackobama—was still in the White House, and we feel fortified by that. Our actual two year wedding anniversary is December 16th, but this Friday feels equally anniversary-ish! The last photo is of us Jensens at the White House with our marriage certificate. Thank you forever to my Wife for asking me to marry her, the Obama administration and SCOTUS 2015 for making it a legal possibility, and to Pop Wed Co for making our day magical. ❤️ 📸 credit: Pop Wed Co 🙏
