Look who I gotta meet! I got to meet Taylor Moore, who’s a fellow coach and a Trooper for the California Highway Patrol.
It was awesome meeting this dude! We exchanged patches and all. It was really cool hearing Taylor tell me, how I inspired him.
He said, through my own journey of coming back, after almost having a below the knee amputation, on my right leg, it helped to inspire him, to also bounce back, after having his right knee replaced. I’m so proud of him! He’s doing awesome.
And this dude is a Beast! He can fricken bench press a truck. Do you see how he just towers over me
How’s that for a Friday workout! .
Who’s been to Orange Theory Fort York .
We tried out all of their classes the first two weeks and definitely liked the Power class the best! .
The Power class pushing you on the treadmill with lots of “all out sprints” to get your heart rate up and the floor blocks mixed in lots of rowing to maintain the higher heart rate, which meant we left very sweaty! 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️
🏋🏻♀️🏋🏻♀️🏋🏻♀️ If you haven’t gone to check out their new location, we highly recommend! First class is FREE 😁

Hi! Normally, I like to post daily happy happy on here, but I’m in the trenches gritting some stuff out so I took a break.
I was just listening to an interview of Lysa Terkeurst giving her testimony. Lysa told her story of how God did not take away an excruciating physical pain that had her hospitalized. The doctors told her, had God answered her prayers and taken the pain away, they would’ve sent her home, and she would have died within days. Her colon had detached inside her and would have erupted. The pain is what saved her life. It makes me realize that even our emotional pain can serve a purpose or save our lives. We can realize we never want to make that certain painful mistake again. We can hit our rock bottom and decide the pain of change is way easier than the pain of staying the same.
Lysa went on to say when we’re crying out to God to take away our pain and fix our circumstances, God sees the bigger picture we can’t see. “God loves us too much to answer our prayers in any other time but the right time, and any other way but the right way”. This really spoke to me. The emotional pain I’m enduring now is necessary for the full picture...the finished work. My pain is really just driving me closer to Jesus, to worship, to pray, & to press in harder. It causes me to reflect on wrong choices Ive made or right ones I chose not to make. It shows me to invite Gods Will in my choices and not continue making mistakes that lead to pain.
He already knew the decisions I would make in my life and how they would impact me. With that said, I realized today, I haven’t missed anything. He knew my choices and what my losses would be and because of that, He had a plan for my redemption. My pain causes me to CHOOSE NOT TO stay the same and to surrender my will in exchange for His. His will is perfect. Trust Him.
