“And then a hero comes along with the strength to carry on!! And you cast your fears aside!!!
And you know you can survive!!!
So when you feel like hope is gone!
Look inside you and be strong! and you'll finally see the truth
That a HERO lies in you!!!”
~Mariah Cary (Hero)
I now have an endocrinologist on my team and I'm so so grateful. I'm also hosting a book tour! These lovely things are happening yet I'm still down and so so tired but that's the medicine. Hopefully in a couple weeks that side effect will subside.
I signed up to volunteer for 🌎 day and it took me so long to push the confirm button. The shortest time slot is for 4 hours and it's to plant trees which I so badly wanted to do, but I've been so nervous about my pain. It's totally something that I could explain to the coordinators and I'm making it a bigger deal than it is but I cannot go to the grocery store without leaving in some sort of terrible pain. This will be a challenge, and now I'm second guessing myself. It's going to be great. I'm going to be great and these tees are going to be great.
Temple of Apollo | Corinth | Greece
The temple of Apollo at Corinth is one of the earliest Doric temples in the Greek mainland and one of the few standing Archaic Greek Temples in the world.
The temple built around 560 B.C. It was peripteral, surrounded by a pteron of 42 monolithic, limestone columns, over 7 m. high.
In the Roman period the Temple of Apollo was renovated in order to house the cult of the Emperor.
In the Ottoman period a residence of the local Turkish Bey was built on top of its crepis.
Today only seven standing columns of the western pteron and part of the crepis and its foundations are preserved.
