The struggle of getting a normal picture of these girls is real 😅
Another 90 minute trip to the Children's Hospital for Rachel's radiology appointments are no joke either. But you do whatever it takes for your kids to get better and live happy, healthy lives. It's been a hard (going on) 3 years seeing our little Rachie go through all that she has, but she has been a serious trooper and has shown us how tough she can be. To all you parents out there that are on a medical journey with your kids, keep staying strong. It may feel like an upward battle sometimes, but you're resilient, and I'm praying for all of you out there that our children will make it through. 💕💕

After two months away due to multiple hospitalizations and her recovery, Mom was back today at the helm cooking and serving her community at Happy Tuesday, a monthly senior citizen luncheon that she coordinates, sponsored by her church. Mom has served at this luncheon for 18 years, only missing a handful of times due to her hospitalizations related to ovarian cancer since 2013. She does a lot of the food prep at our house in the days ahead, including cooking four large turkey breasts this time for a thanksgiving-style feast, then she has a group of volunteers who help with the sides, desserts, and serving. Every day activities are still challenging for Mom, but it’s totally worth it for her to do what she loves — a Happy Tuesday indeed. Never Give Up. ❤️🙏🏽
And so it BEGINS.
