Una raccolta di consigli positivi su come vivere la vita nel modo più luminoso possibile.
La Leggerezza dei Piccoli Passi mi sta piacendo tantissimo, soprattutto perché ogni "consiglio" è accompagnato da una citazione/poesia.
Lo sto assaporando lentamente per comprendere appieno come mettere in atto nella quotidianità i propositi che in esso sono contenuti.

Oggi, al 15º passo verso il cambiamento c'è scritto così 🅽🅾🅽 🅳🅸🅼🅴🅽🆃🅸🅲🅰🆁🅴 🅼🅰🅸 🅳🅸 🅳🅸🆁🅴 "🆃🅸 🅰🅼🅾" Ho notato che a volte si dà per scontato l'uso di due semplici parole oppure si risponde ad esse con un repentino "anch'io".
Che tristezza. Penso che non sia bello perdere il piacere di dire ad una persona che la si ama, sia essa un ragazzo, una ragazza, mamma, papà, un amica, un fratello, il proprio riflesso allo specchio... Leggere questo 15º passo mi ha fatto rievocare il giorno in cui il mio compagno mi aveva regalato questa cornice simpatica con la nostra foto per il primo anno insieme. A Settembre sarà il nostro sesto anniversario e non manca giorno in cui ci diciamo "ti amo" pensando e provando davvero ciò che esce dalla nostra bocca.

Sto leggendo un libro che sembra un diario. Una raccolta di consigli positivi su come vivere la vita nel modo più luminoso possibile. Process over content. This is a healing mantra I learned from #lynnlyons and it spoke to me immediately. *

The idea is that how we approach our healing is more significant and powerful than the content of the challenge itself. *

Of course, as a therapist I provide a space for the client to feel heard and validated, bearing witness to stories is an incredibly important part of this work. That being said, it is my job to notice when the retelling, venting, perseverating is crossing a line into unhelpful. *
*
The reason focusing on process can be more helpful than focusing on the details is because the process can often be generalized.
*
*
If your challenge is anxiety, the process of decreasing your anxiety will apply regardless of the current anxiety triggers. We can take our process us you all through life. *
*
When we feel sad or low, we can develop a process on how we heal our sadness regardless of the content of our sadness.
*
*
Next time you are venting, of course get it out and seek validation from a safe source, but then begin your process of healing. Notice the difference. ❤️👌

~On Disappointment~

Disappointment is a terrible feeling. Sometimes when I am disappointed by someone, I feel as if the person who disappointed me has betrayed me and doesn’t love me anymore. Sometimes I feel irrationally angry and resentful, and lash out at that person. And a lot of the time, that person didn’t even know that I had these expectations of them and how I wanted them to act.

Throughout the years, I’ve learned to stop having expectations of the people in my life. This prevents me from getting disappointed in them and helps me to maintain a loving relationship with them.

You can choose to have expectations of people and always be worried, waiting, sad, stressed, and disappointed OR you can choose to not have expectations of people and relax, focus, and love and live more freely and happily.
