I have quite some pain in my back. One of the things that helps against the pain is….sex! Orgasms can help to relieve pain. I think this is one of many reasons why it’s important to learn about female pleasure. A website that helps very much with that is omgyes (www.omgyes.com). This website explains AND SHOWS how women masturbate and illustrates different techniques that you can use/that women use to reach an orgasm. For a one-off free of 40 euro’s, you are granted full access to the website! The money is being used to create a second “season”, about internal stimulation for women. So you’re also supporting research and education about the female body!

Krina has got it just right
Latest project focusing on female body image and self acceptance. The type needs a little work but wanted to get something down before baby #2 arrives! I wrote the following text to consolidate my thoughts, parts of it will feature on each illustration... .
Our bodies tell our stories, each one unique like the pages in a book
Those tiger marks that our babies leave as a permanent reminder of when we were their homes and cultivated them from two single cells into complete human beings
The sags and wrinkles that show the passing of time tracking our messy and wonderful emotional journeys
Soft squishy bits that make us nice and cuddly for those that need our comfort
The silver streaks in our hair, each one a strand of wisdom
Dark circles from not sleeping because we were doing something more important or more fun or just because we care too much and couldn’t shut off our minds
We enjoyed our food, we worked hard and gave all we had
The rough skin on our well travelled feet
Those un-manicured hands that got dirty because they were growing, creating or caring for something
The hairs that sprout because we are mammals and we can’t be bothered to waste our lives constantly shaving, plucking and waxing
It’s ok to be fluffy, it’s all ok, more than ok. It’s all part of our story, all to be embraced
When we are no longer on this earth, what do we want to be remembered for How nice we looked, how well we had aged and what good taste in clothes we had .
Or our positive influence on our community, the way we doted on our friends and family and how good we made those in our presence feel

According to the artist, imagination is the lubricant of everything. She often uses universal motifs and combine them with vernacular Chinese elements to express her views of the contemporary life. The narratives behind her paintings connect places and social character types of different geographical or cultural background on a variety of scales.

EVERY WOMAN HAS THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE HER METHOD OF BIRTH CONTROL. Do I think hormonal birth control is the healthiest choice for someone’s physical and mental health No. But do I think it should be available to women who think it’s the best option for them Absolutely.
Even knowing what I know now, there is certainly a time in my life when I would have still chosen hormonal birth control. My problem with it all is that I didn’t know. //No one told me how the pill depletes important nutrients like B vitamins and magnesium.
//Or that depleted vitamin B6 can lead to decreased levels of serotonin (and may lead to depression).
//That the risk of certain cancers is increased by the pill.
//That the risk of osteoporosis may also be increased by hormonal birth control.
//And other issues as well.
Women need to be given all of the information about all forms of birth control so that they can make an INFORMED DECISION.
For instance, a woman who has all the information about hormonal birth control might still decide to go on it - but she might make different choices about how long to stay on it and when to go off it, or to supplement the nutrients the pill depletes using vitamins. This is INFORMED CONSENT.
That’s my goal - to get the information out there so more women can be in the know and will be able to make informed decisions.

Born in 1970, Duan Jianyu is one of the finest painters at work in China today. She has constructed a unique visual language over the years to capture her perceptive observations of the world. Her dream-like depictions are sensual and emotional in a way to engage the viewers on a subconscious level.
