As promised, our finished fireplace. With the chilly, fall weather in the Mitten, I could not wait to snuggle up under my favorite throw blanket and enjoy the fire. But, I couldn’t handle staring at the naked wall any longer! With this corner fireplace being one of the first things you see when you enter the house, I wanted it to make a statement. Not to mention, the tiling was far from how it was supposed to look, so I needed a big distraction! I knew I could achieve this look on a budget—some trim and paint (and borrowed air compressor, nail gun, ladder and my dad’s geometry expertise 😅). This is one of my proudest projects so far. I sketched the design myself, chose the trim and picked out the color (“Parador Stone” by Behr—5 wrong gray samples and multiple Home Depot trips later 🤷🏻♀️). Shout out to my husband who made this vision a reality.

This weeks #martonemoves #rockstar #homeoftheweek belongs to #brucewillis it took a #diehard #realestateagent to help Mr. Willis sell his property #withavengeance After languishing on the market for seven long years! At long last, the gorgeous Idaho ranch-style retreat of A-list actor Bruce Willis has sold ... for the drastically reduced price of $5.5 million. Which is a sweet deal for a lakefront ranch property that features a 20-plus-acre aspen glade, a large lodge-style home, and a fabulous outdoor pool with waterfalls, a #grotto and several waterslides. "Bruce's estate was originally listed for $15 million way back in 2011, which was well above market value at the time," he says. "It was gradually reduced from there to the mid-$8 millions." His team took over the listing in 2016 and took a different tack. "We were able to negotiate a healthy price drop, and we listed for $6,495,000, and then dropped to $5,895,000. At that price, the home represented a very good value for the right buyer." Willis bought the 23-acre property in 2003 and proceeded to rebuild and add on to the main house, which now measures 8,400 square feet and has six bedrooms. He added a detached guest house and gym, as well as several ponds and streams to the property. The main home has a #huntinglodge #ambiance, with a cozy (yet spacious) sunken living room with #woodpillars #builtin bookshelves, and a #rock #fireplace flanked by cathedral-style windows that provide views of the surrounding woods. The home's kitchen has been totally updated and features dark wood cabinetry, steel-gray countertops, wrought-iron hardware, two glass-front #SubZero refrigerators, a Viking six-burner stove with double ovens, and two dishwashers. Upstairs, there's a #luxurious 2,200-square-foot master suite with built-in bookshelves, a gas fireplace, and two heated balconies. "The home is large and gracious, and offers room for several #generations to come together and enjoy the #SunValley area together. It's a true lodge-style home and offers a warm, #welcoming vibe," #idaho #luxuryrealestate #celebrityhomes #rustic #woods #roughingit #acres #housegoals #homegoals
#Nofilter needed for this beautiful home! Centrally located in the heart of #Delco, 2,008 square feet, built in 2012, CENTRAL AIR, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath, hardwood floors throughout 1st floor, fenced in backyard, beautiful front porch and back patio, gas fireplace, beautiful details and wirelessly connected speakers, security, lights, and more. Truly a dream home!
Walking distance to public transportation, wawa, Delco's best gluten free pizza, and best fitness center. A must see!
We needed 2 solutions. 1-Modernize old brick w/o removing. 2-Provide power, data and hardware for TV mounting. ~
I secured studs into the brick mechanically with 3” tapcons, every attachment point shimmed off the brick to make square and plumb. This method also allowed a space for me to run power and data correctly and gave the opportunity to run backing for TV mount hardware.
Definitely wanted a concrete look...rectified 12x24 porcelain tile set with 1/16” joint and very tight mitered corners give the appearance of massive concrete blocks.
Quartz hearth sitting about 1/2” off the floor for a cool floating look.

Guess what happened today! (I mean, apart from me walking around all morning with the tag hanging down from the armpit of my new blazer... 😏) The concrete guys started the driveway! 🙌🏻 We are one step closer, y’all. // I don’t think I’ve shared our room now that the floors have been installed. I haven’t made very many decor decisions for this space yet—currently on the hunt for a new headboard, and I can’t decide if I want to go with an oversized, reclaimed wood option or something upholstered. 🤷🏼♀️ Either way, I’m looking forward to waking up to this gorgeous light every morning. #shiplap #bedroomdesign #whitebedroom #mybrickissick
