Days 4 to 7 of the #aloyogachallenge #balanceinyourasana ! ➡️ I still haven't started the bbg resistance workouts for this week 🙈 This week has been pretty busy and has gone by so fast! Yesterday the boxing class was pretty intense so I didn't do bbg or anything else yesterday and then today I came home from work and fell asleep for a few hours 😂 Because of the Christchurch attacks, it's been all hands on deck with things at work and I've had additional tasks to do with it as well as my normal work so I've been feeling pretty tired mentally from that as what I had been doing at work involved lots of people standing over my shoulder telling me what to do 😂 and then just physically tired from having to start work earlier than normal. But anyway, I feel bad complaining about my tiredness to do with Christchurch work stuff which is nothing compared to what those affected by it have had to go through so I'll stop! But since I was feeling so tired (even after sleeping 😂) for bbg tonight, I thought I would catch up on the yoga challenge and I had a nice hour or so practicing the poses and watching tutorials/looking at pictures on how to get into them! 🤸‍♀️ .

Day 4 - Side plank. .

Day 5 - Crow pose. (I couldn't stay in this one for very long) .

Day 6 - Toe stand. (I couldn't balance on my toes so a flat foot had to do 😂) .

Day 7 - Dancer pose. This was just one of the variations I saw so I decided to do this one 😊 .

Pierwszy dzień wiosny, a wraz z nim pierwszy przepis na zupę krem (będzie ich więcej! 😍). Przedstawiam Wam totalną improwizację - krem z buraka. 
Zajrzałam do lodówki, pojawił się pomysł, ale przepisu brak... stąd decyzja - TWORZĘ 😄 ❗️SKŁADNIKI I PRZEPIS:
7 średnich buraków
2 duże marchewki 
2 małe cebule
ząbek czosnku 
Kawałek pora i selera
Sól, pieprz, 2 listki laurowe, słodka papryka, odrobina ostrej i wędzonej 
Posiekane cebulki, czosnek i pora podsmażyłam w garnku na oleju, wrzuciłam resztę dość drobno pokrojonych warzyw i przypraw, wymieszałam i zalałam 1 litrem wody. CORE EXERCISES YOUR NOT DOING❌ BUT SHOULD BE

Lets talk core strength training. There’s a difference between core and ab training. Think of a mansion (your abs) and the foundation (your core) it’s built on. You can have the most expensive mansion in the world but it if lies on a shitty foundation, it’s useless. Of course there’s a lot more to your core than this analogy but I like to give this example to drive the point home. While I am, for the most part, ok with traditional ab workouts. I won’t introduce it until we have a solid base to work off.

ENTER CORE TRAINING: breathing, bracing & resisting (rotation, flexion, extension).
.
T A L L K N E E L I N G P A L L O F P R E S S: this challenges your core to resist rotation. Focus on pursing the lips and deliver a strong breathe out as the arms fully extend. The tall kneeling position is one of the easiest variation of this exercise, making it a great starting point.
.
S U P I N E P A L L O F P R E S S: an anti-flexion core exercise. Set up in the supine positions and raise the knees so they are directly over the hips. Follow through with the same breathing pattern as the previous exercise to maximize the benefits of this core strengthening drill.
.
S T A G G E R S T A N C E F A R M E R H O L D: resisting lateral flexion is the name of the game here. Set up with a single db in the stagger stance. Breathing techniques remain the same. A great way to reenforce this is to count your breath instead of using a timer before switching arms and stance.
