this week the meal prep is salmon? quinoa, and broccoli, i'm finishing up the rice and beans from last week and making more breakfast burritos today!

did a 45 minute workout today at the gym. started with lateral pull downs, then moved to lateral and front raises with shoulder presses, and tricep kickbacks. i did crunches and chest presses on the mat, along with some squats, sumo squats, and hip thrusters. i finished up with about ten minutes on the bike for a cool down and my legs were dead on the walk home. i'm glad to be getting the weights in though! this week the meal prep is salmon quinoa, and broccoli, i'm finishing up the rice and beans from last week and making more breakfast burritos today!

😈 EXERCISE 1: Deadlifts ( I did 8 reps X 4 sets) girls who haven't done deadlifts before, this exercise is excellent to build overall strength and burns heaps of calories. Just be careful with your form, Im still working on mine. 🔥EXERCISE 2: Leg raises ( 10 reps x 4) 🙅🏻EXERCISE 3: 12 reps each side X 4 ♀️EXERCISE 4: 10 reps each side x 4 🔥🔥 EXERCISE 5 (SUPERSET) 10 reps X 4 (each exercise)

I’ve neglected training abs for a while. I always kind of feel that we work the abs so much through other training, that I don’t focus as much on specifically training them. But when I do train them, my favourite exercise by far is GHD sit-ups. The only downside is the following day - serious ab DOMS always follow! .

A hump day medal!!! And it was a hard effort for this bad boy. My nice string of 10k PBs is over with an extremely poor effort tonight . Maybe it was because I didn’t have @run_phil_run, maybe because it’s midweek, maybe it’s because I’m shattered and currently drinking like a 🐠, eating like a 🐷 and working like a 🐶... WHO KNOWS .
