KIND KONES, PLAZA DAMANSARA // Had an unexpected unpleasant experience yesterday at Kind Kones 🍦 My friend and I had a stomach ache after eating these two ice creams. He didn't manage to finish his ice cream while I forced myself to eat everything to not waste food. After 10 mins of chowing down the ice cream, I felt extremely nauseous that I had to chug a few glasses of water and finish an entire packet of mint to ease my senses and tummy. Both the cones and the ice cream base tasted off and we thought we were the only ones. I checked with other friends and they also had the same experience with their ice cream a day before us. I usually enjoy the rich texture and fun flavours at Kind Kones but perhaps I was unlucky with the ones I ate yesterday 💔 .

Last week I had the shittiest gym week in the whole time I’ve been working out. I ate whatever. Literally anything I wanted. And it set me back. But today is Monday, and it’s in the past. Can’t change it, but I can keep moving forward. Shoutout to my trainer! I sent him a message about my shitty week and asked for something to help me work out some frustration lol. He gave me this push day workout. And it was a gooood time at the gym! I’m so glad to be back. I felt so crappy the past several days. Can’t wait to feel goooooood again!

Was genau meine ich mit Abhilfe? Heutzutage stehen euch viele Möglichkeiten zur Auswahl, wie ihr euer Essen zubereiten wollt.

Ich persönlich handhabe es so, bei der Zubereitung von Reis wirf ich alles in den Reiskocher, der eingeständig meldet, sobald das Reis fertiggekocht ist, obendrein hat dieser Reiskocher eine weitere Funktion, sodass Beispielsweise für Kartoffeln oder #Gemüse der aufsteigende Wasserdampf genutzt werden kann.

Auch könnte man die Kartoffeln im Ofen zubereiten, diesen benutze ich jedoch meist für #Fischgerichte.

Alles Utensilien die mich in meiner Zeitplanung unterstützen und mich während dieser Zeit anderweitige Arbeiten erledigen und mich flexibel lassen.

DEPRESS YO SCAP! Own your shoulders or they will own you! .

It’s not a secret that I suffered from a major shoulder and bicep tear nearly 3yrs back, and had to rebuild myself from scratch to be able to just lift my arm let along rely on it for strength. .
I’ve come to terms that my shoulder will never be where it was prior to injury. But I’ll be damned if I let that stop me from pursuing my career as a Coach and hold me back from my love for skill based training and Movement. .
.
I just have to train smart!! Meaning, train only to my capacity on the day, listen to my body (100%) and do shoulder prehab/activation every second day or so. .
.
So I wanted to share two of my go to’s for activation and strength. .
.
1st 🎥 - Drill to activate scap depression. The video in the first half is what not to do! ❌ Elevate shoulders and rushing the movement. 
Second half (that is slowed down) is focusing on depressing your scapulae as you raise and lower your arms. Depression of the scap should be maintained throughout the entire movement and your mid back, lower lats should be lit up! 🔥 Additionally, your fingers should be active and elbows hovering off the ground. .

2nd 🎥 - Rear deltoid strength exercise. Thumb is facing downwards as you raise the weight laterally away from the body, always incorporating time under tension throughout the movement i.e. TUT = Strength gains! .
.
My ❤️Love note today - Don’t wait until you can’t move to move. Your foundations set up your technique or lack of. Thus, learning the basics should be ones focus to progress to the bigger movements and that knowledge will never leave you!
