If there’s one consistent theme when I’m designing different spaces in my house (or for others! Check out pix from our recent interior design projects on @themanmans!), it’s plants and nature! 🌱
Any way I can get more greenery into a space, I’ll do it! Sometimes depending on the space or how it will be used, I need to find other ways to incorporate them vs having live plants. So I use prints of plants, like this one gifted to me by @slehmanade or faux plants (lmk if you know of a great place to find realistic ones! I’m always on the hunt!). No matter what, they always add another level of beauty to a room, nothing can compete w nature! 🌎♥️
A few before and after photos of my last #fliphouse RR we gutted. This was a long and stressful rehab but I learned and grew so much from it. Some days were not easy but today I know I was born to do this. Nothing gives me great reward than knowing the family moving in next week are going to enjoy and love being here. If you saw my stories today then you already know... We didn't close on the flip house today. We were notified at 9pm last night that we were not in fact closing yesterday. (🙄 oh really, because I thought midnight closings were a thing.) .
Not only did we not close yesterday but they need "about a week" to finalize paperwork. So we'll be closing "sometime next week."
These are the things you deal with buying from an online auction. Luckily (or maybe not so lucky 🤔) we dealt with this on another online auction purchase so were mentally prepared for it. Just not mentally prepared for over a week in delayed closing! .
Oh and I broke a cup today because I'm so mad. Just kidding. I just have butter fingers. I'm actually not mad and looking on the bright side, it gives me more time to finish up small projects and help Todd button up some client projects.
