📌 EAST, Duke Street, Glasgow
When @glasgochris has a day off (how dare he 😂) or goes on holiday and you find yourself in a sticky spot for brunch in the East End; this is one of your options 😊
EAST (@east_coffeecompany) provides decent coffee, tasty brunch dishes and even nicer cakes! The chocolate brioche bread & butter pudding slice was INCREDIBLE 🤤
Would you choose the ham hock dish, the hot smoked salmon or the cake option
What is your hangover choice
Today a halloumi burger and loaded sweet potato fries from @freddyandhicks at @platform_gla sorted me right out! Very tasty and so BIG! They have Gluten free burger baps just ask when ordering
What do you eat when there’s warm weather
Can’t go wrong with a salad bowl to be honest... Yesterday I went to @wearesprigg for the first time, the line was out the door! But it moved quick, so I didn’t mind. I highly rate this place! Sadly there is no place to sit in, but you can grab it and sit in the sun.
I honestly loved this because there was such a good selection of ingredients that you choose from and the bowl is massive and only £6 for a lunch bowl. I got the halloumi as my main ingredient and then you can add 7 other ingredients! Class
The falafel is not made with gluten, but they do say there is a chance of cross contamination with the flour they use. I didn’t risk it because I’ve already felt a bit dodgey from the plane this week.
📌 Gather by Zique, Hyndland, Glasgow
Posting this to remind myself to visit @gatherbyzique again soon 🙌🏼 come join the other avid #gatherers
‘Cause dishes like this tagliatelle with suckling pig ragu are what dream dishes are made of 😍
What’s your ideal pasta combination Tomato or pasta based Meat or no meat I might do a wee poll in my stories as I’m interested in what people ultimate pasta dish would be 😏
📌 Fanny Trollopes, Finnieston, Glasgow
Want something Ask for it !
I feel like that should be a new @skinbysisi quote 😋
I really wanted the salad beetroot & crowdie starter as a main, so I asked for it ... and being the amazing restaurant that they are ❤️ @fannytrollopes obliged 😏
A fond (temporary) farewell meal for my pal’s hasty exit to Japan - for 6 months - made all the better by our awesome waiter too 😁
I was amazed that a whopping 75% of you in my poll have never been! Do the photos make you consider it
Tapas Tried @marketbardub last night in Dublin. Nachos were my favourite part and this is the small plate! Seen the large come out and I’d recommend it. The menu was all marked GF very handy.
Also got the risotto stuffed peppers, they were tasty but the nachos definitely wins.
Very fast service! Which was great because I was starving 😋

Went there 2 weeks ago and honestly they were so amazing at catering for gluten free and vegetarian options! Staff were 5 star! And the food honestly was delicious!
Plates don’t look massive but they are filling and so tasty. Reasonably priced for personally what I think was fancy ass food. And mark on the menu what is GF always a bonus... If you need food inspiration for this coming weekend @madlabglasgow is definitely worth booking 🙌🏼 In above picture, Padron peppers & Wye valley asparagus

📝: Lots of great news to report for this review. Firstly, Horn Please have finally reopened and have found themselves a great new location on Sauchiehall Street next to Ox and Finch. On top of that, the food is as awesome as ever!! For those that haven't heard about Horn Please, it's a contemporary, small plates, Indian restaurant, but it doesn't specialise in curry, sound weird Well, if you think about it, India is huge country, they can't solely be eating curry every day right Therefore, this is a totally unique concept for Glasgow, bringing the modern style of Indian cuisine to our doorstep. The flavours are bright, fresh and spicy and the dishes are really inventive and interesting. I for one was a huge fan and I really think Horn Please can now go from strength to strength at their new location. If you want to try modern Indian food, make this your next stop!
