#ThrowbackThursday alert. 1 year ago today was supposed to be the first official Chefs Without Restaurants public event. The event ended up being canceled due to predicted snow. Either way, this posole from chef Chris of @perfectlittlebites was delicious. Too bad more people didn’t get to try it.

TIME: 7p start time, sign up and grab your seat by 6:30/6:45p

STRUCTURE: For each round you are in, you will get a Taster delivered to you (your choice of beer). The first round will be very easy to get everyone going. (Don’t blow it!) Words will get progressively harder, you know, how this kind of thing goes for fifth graders.
COST: $10 per person
PRIZES: First place is a $50 Attaboy gift card, crazy street cred, and some shwagg. Second place is a $25 Attaboy gift card, some street cred, and some shwagg. Third place, $25 gift card, no cred.

So come on down! Drink some beer and spell some stuff. (Please note that drinking a taster per round is totally optional! But it will probably be more fun.)
You ever just meet a couple and think, “Those two are just adorable!” That was Sydney and Marc! Marc is probably one of the only fiancés who was so invested in the trial run process, I was a little shocked! He proved to me that there are still good guys out there! Look at how happy these two are 😍! #poeticallybrushedbykim 📸 @britleephoto
Strays, Falling Curls, Cascading Hair, the, “I want my hair to be done but not Look done”, even Tendrils 😂, we all know what you mean, and here is Sydney making all those dreams come true 💫 ! #poeticallybrushedbykim
Tonight I did a private vegetarian (mostly #glutenfree) cooking demo/dinner, that also highlighted oil & vinegar. One of my favorite dishes is a Black-Eyed Pea & Kale Stew that’s finished with @KeepwellVinegar Ramp Vinegar.
The first finished batch of 2019! I fell in love with the bottoms of my graphic bowls over the holidays and have been adding this little detail to my new mugs too! If you’re a fan of the “office bootie” mugs, don’t worry I’m still making those too because nothing compares to a good ol’ flat bootied mug!😂
These guys will be available Feb 9th on our website! ☕️ #flatbottomedmugsmakecoffeetimegoround

Hey friends! There are so many new faces around here that I thought it was time I do a little intro. 🙌
I’m Marly. I’m a former corporate marketer turned stay at home mom blogger. I’ve been blogging for almost two years now and it’s my JAM! Decorating makes my heart happy, so you’ll find lots of posts about seasonal decorating ideas on my blog. You’ll also find tons of DIY projects and thrifty decor ideas there. My handy hubby Jason and I are always improving our home in some way, so there’s no shortage of before & after shots on the blog!
In addition to my blog, I have a podcast called The Marly Dice Podcast that is specifically for home bloggers looking to grow their blogs. I really wanted to find a space to chat about marketing & blogging, so I created it via my podcast! .
When I’m not blogging or podcasting, I enjoy exercising, antiquing with Jason, and doing ALL THE THINGS with my sweet toddler. .
I think mint chocolate chip ice cream is the best food item ever. (Breyers used to be my fav brand but Food Lion brand is up there, for real!!) I’m a huge coffee lover and usually drink several cups a day. I’ve recently gotten into lattes; peppermint lattes being my fav! .
I treasure my friendships. I’ve been friends with the same peeps for years and years. I consider myself a loyal person and I really value those people in my life.
And last but not least, I’m obsessed with the blogging community. I feel so blessed to be part of such a supportive group of people. And to think, I had no idea this community even existed just a couple years ago. Thanks for cheering me on and supporting me through this journey. Y’all mean so much to me. .
If ya stuck around to the end of this long caption, thank you! Now drop a comment below about you! I want to get to know YOU better!! ❤️

A quiet morning in #downtownfrederick. The snow seemed to have kept the locals at home. The visiting Canadians didn’t seem to mind.
Got a new logo from the super cool folks @logodesigner.cc and found some awesome local makers over at @welldunnworkshop to laser cut me some super cool business cards! Time to hit the streets in my new town:) thanks @makersofmaryland for for putting welldunnworkshop on my radar!
When the whole family is home for the holidays, it's time to update the family photo!! Even with all of the children, I have to say, they were completely cooperative despite the frigid temps! Go Howard Family!!!
