I’m asked, what is it that Keeps you motivated
Simple: it’s knowing how far I have come along. The additional fuel is the unknown. Not knowing exactly how far I can go. That’s the rush, the thrill, the booster. Being able to reflect and think to myself. “ this time around last year I wasn’t able to lift this amount, but now I’m able to do so with ease”.. you begin to break old personal records, or pass the mirror up and notice some more muscle tone and definition. Or things that may have been a challenge to you are second hand nature to you now. A craving for more begins to develop. It’s a trait of being a competitor. I’m not in any competition with nobody but myself. And seeing and physically knowing that I am a step better then I once was ignites the adrenaline. The mirror is a reflection of your work ethic and sometimes we view it and become discouraged because you don’t see the immediate results that we desire.
*But take the time to examine yourself closely. If you took one more step on the treadmill or walked one minute more that’s a win. If you hit one more rep on the bench press, that’s a win. Dropped one pound that’s a win. What ever you are doing have patience. Above all consistency, because one inch a day will eventually equal up to a mile.
With that being said, it’s the unknown that fuels me. The endless possibility’s. What fuels you
. ➡️ (quote of the day)
“The smallest Axe will still chop down the tallest Tree”
= meaning small amounts of consistent pressure will bring success over time.

You have arms. So you might as well train them. 💪
We wanted to show you something you've probably not seen before! We like this curl variation to work your biceps in an angle they've likely not been hit from much. You simply get a barbell and keep it in contact with your body as you "curl" it up and down. What's the name 🤷♂️ (edit—>see comments!)
People make fun of arm training but there's so many options and chances for creativity in it, so it's a great for those who like variety. If it keeps you interested don't feel bad about playing with new accessory exercises frequently (though you should usually keep big base lifts consistent for at least 4-8 week stretches). And if you just want big arms, that's cool too. It's almost beach season after all 😂
Comment below with/if:
~What your favorite arm exercise is (for you bodybuilders and bros😁).
~You think direct arm training is dumb (for you crossfitters and powerlifters 😉).
~If you're ready for the ☀️ to be out 😎💪
~You want Dan to keep demo-ing different types of curls 😍😂
✨💥Because I like adding weight to my kick backs I have to adjust the way I do them. Plus it helps increase those booty goals. Yes you can do them standing but I prefer the bench for specific reasons. Adding weight does add strain to your back if you don’t have the correct posture. Since I go heavy the bench helps with my posture as well as reducing stress to my back. I’ve done these standing and the amount of stress taken off my lower back is tremendous. So for those who love kick backs and want to add that weight I suggest you add the bench to your routine. More reps, less stress. I do 20 each leg 4x. Start low than work your way up. Find what works for YOU & don’t be afraid to try new things!👌🏼💥 #KickBacks #BackProblems #Fitness #Motivated #FitMom #Progress #TrustTheProcess #FitMom #WorkOutRoutine #FridayFlex #FitLife #ItsALifestyle #GymAddict
I’m going to be honest to everyone. The gym and I have been having some issues lately. I haven’t been going as often as I like and I have been beating myself up really bad about it. My confidence has been down and it’s been affecting how I lift when I do go. I’ve been tired, hurting and unmotivated. I slept 12 hours yesterday, but I woke up today and just felt better. I took today to reflect, catch up on some much needed me time and realized I’m only human. It’s hard trying to pretend you’re perfect in everything you do. Recently daily life has been taking its toll on me. But today was great for my mental and also seeing all the hard work Anthony does made me motivated. My workout today was amazing and I feel genuinely happy today. I cleaned my house, got a coffee, spent time with my fur babies. I think I’m ready to start being myself again. If anyone wants to join me and hold one another accountable for our happiness, hmu and we can be motivation buddies. I’m down for it. 🤗
Also not sorry for how long this caption is.
Also this is my favorite shirt so idc if I’m wearing it in multiple pictures. Not sorry about that either 😁

Smile from your heart; nothing is more beautiful than a woman who is happy to be herself. 💖 - Kubra Sait
Our biceps aren't the only muscles we need to be flexing. Share your smile, you never know who may need it. 😁

PSA: Abs will not make you happy.
I’ve been the girl who thought they would. Getting them and still being unhappy. I’ve been the girl with them and happy. Without them and happy.
Sure, being comfortable and confident in your own skin will only add to the joy and well-being to your life. But if you’re looking for abs or a certain number on the scale to be happy with yourself, your life, or your body you’re missing the point girlfriend.
Stop waiting for those goals to appreciate yourself! You must START with that appreciation if you ever want goals and new healthy habits to stick.
Too often we start towards a goal because we DON’T like what we see and aren’t happy with ourselves. While that seems like great motivation to get you off your butt, exercise, and eat healthy now...it’s not motivation that lasts.
It’s why 9 out of 10 people will end up back where they started, never really making a change in their life. That guilt and self-hate is what leads to yo-yoing, always restarting on Monday, and self-sabotage.
I get it though. It’s fucking hard to work on that self-love first. It’s not comfortable or what most of us are used to. But you gotta start there. Mindset is everything.
One thing that you can do to start making strides in this area is awareness with the language you’re using about yourself. Every time you use a word to describe yourself, look in the mirror, etc, be mindful of the stuff you’re playing out in your head and what you’re focusing on.
Catch yourself in these moments and refocus on what you do love and appreciate about yourself or your body. Or even visualize where you want to be and feel gratitude as if you’re already there (this is powerful AF). Whenever you start to go back to all the things you don’t like, refocus.
Everything starts with mindset. Work on that and you’ll see how much easier it is to make changes that last. ✌🏼

Spine flexin' on this #flexfriday
My clients are on to me about all this core focused work we've been doing lately- more specifically, crunch variations. But why
Well.. summer's coming and those sweaters are gonna be shed pretty soon!
But also, crunches have gotten an unwarranted bad rep in our industry solely due to the movement often being performed poorly. Our spine is meant to bend, it is the sole purpose of the rectus abdominus - so train it up!
Focus on your breathing, control and connect to the actual muscle being used rather than repping out 100 "neck pulls".
Of course all of the ab training in the world won't make up for a poor diet - so eat yo' veggies 😉

Throwback to my posing routine from last months bodybuilding competition. This routine was the result of hours and hours of practice. Lots of early mornings and long nights after work.
Having a "musical ear" is not one of my talents. Can I stay on beat NOPE! I literally could not have done this with out @_kt_did_ being there ALL the time telling me when I should hit my poses. She has the patience of a warrior princess! 😄
Anyone that does BB can tell you posing is one of the hardest parts of the sports but its crucial for displaying your physique.. That's why I'm making it a point this off-season to continue to practice posing. 💪🏼
