A fresh new start! Last year October and November we worked very hard to clean this garden and transfer all the flowers and berries from our old allotment. This year we have a greenhouse as well! Very exiting to grow vegetables and fruits! I can't wait to start the sowing season! All the seeds are organized and the allotment plan is ready! It's my first time I've successfully grown a Tommy Toe cherry tomato plant. Last year I grew a plant, but I couldn't get it to bear fruit at all. So now, I am so excited to get my first taste. But before that, the waiting game 😩
Also, it seems like I've got myself a set of twins here and I don't even know how that happens. I will definitely be saving their seeds to try and grow an army of cherry tomato twins 😂
Today we leave a place we will never forget. A place in the south Portugal where we learnt about permaculture for the first time. A place where we discovered a different way of living, that is so welcoming and preserves the local area. We want to say a big thank you to Joackim, owner of @casa_maono , for your sharing about permaculture as well as surf tips 😉
We spread a few seeds in his garden, but he spread so much more in our minds. We still have a lot to learn so we should come back 😊 we wish this place becomes an inspiration for more people, because @casa_maono the kind of living area we want to see more in the futur !

Today is freaking sunny. The severe high temperature makes us feel really exhausted and lazy. However, such weather is the best day for making this, sun-dried banana! We cut ripe banana in half and let the sun burned till it dehydrated and the natural sweet flavor came out. It's such a great snack that required non of any special ingredients but just banana and solar power. 💛☀️🍌
