The photo on the left was exactly 24 weeks ago. This is not easy for me to post because it reminds me how unhappy I was prior to making this change. Even though this was the heaviest I have ever been .. if it wasn’t for this I would have never experienced everything I did during the transformation.
I walked away from this experience a better person physically and mentally, a better coach to my clients and pretty damn proud of myself. .

I was lucky enough to be supported by Josh for the whole 24 weeks. Without his knowledge and commitment I wouldn’t have been able to stick to it. Even though a number on the scale or body fat percentage never motivated me seeing this photo shows me how far I have come!.
This is just the beginning and I’m so ready to smash a few more goals before I jet of to Europe for 4 weeks. 2019 has started with a bang 🔥🤩 #transformation
Do You Stretch
You know most people do not stretch their bodies enough ! Stretching is an important part of any exercise program and you should be doing it frequently . Might do a quick stretch after training but generally that is not enough .
Why do you need to stretch
- muscles need to be stretch and lengthened so they do not become tight & short !
- regular stretching reduces your risk of injury greatly!
- stretching regularly helps keep those aches and pains away - A stretched body is one that moves better and more freely
- You will be able to perform better in your training & exercise - You just feel good from stretching
So make stretching and make it apart of your exercise program

Today was a challenging day!
It's not always easy raising kids and practicing self care. .
Its a never-ending juggle as a wife and mother to keep up with everyone's need and your own!
Some days it's fun and everyone is in good spirits, you have energy and activities planned.
But the days when you are already mentally exhausted and your daughter is being extra bratty and your son is just not happy and everyone is being super emotional and you actually say out loud "I just can't do it"! Well that's just when you need to step up and put everything else on hold and change the scenery.
Get outside, go to the park, do anything to make your family feel happy.
Sometimes you just need to get out of your head, get your body moving, get your kids active and laughing again and remind yourself, you got this!

Do you stress when it comes to going Being away from your routine Not being able to track your food Maybe unsure how your workouts will happen :

Because that one week or so that you are not perfectly on plan or getting your full gym workouts in won’t ruin everything you’ve worked for. In fact it may actually be good for you to step back, relax some, enjoy in moderation the local fare. Do other things for your workouts like snorkel, kayak in the ocean, explore the area, ride bikes 🚴🏽♂️walk🚶🏻♀️instead of drive.!
Sometimes I even use my vacation as a total rest week from the heavy weights for recovery. (I do this about 2 times a year) and guess what no guilt is attached! A body needs rest.!
This last trip we had access to a gym so for me it wasn’t conducive for a total rest week but we did miss 2 days because of early morning snorkel tours.But have you been snorkeling in places that are really choppy🌊 It’s work haha! But fun as well.!
If you are living the #fitlife most likely you’ll still try to do that even on vacations. I still try to prioritize getting protein in, and my veggies, and eat well but I’m also not afraid to enjoy tacos on the beach in Mexico or a pina colada at the pool, 😉because it’s not something I do every day! And sometimes that’s what makes vacations so fun.!
Memories and emerging yourself in the culture is how I roll! 😏. Cuz once you get home it’s back to life as usual. And I’ve been on way too many vacations where I stressed waaaayyyy to much. I’m done with that. And let me tell you! Life is soooooo much better!😊
There is way more important things to worry about in this life then being crazy on vacations. 😏
