I want to finish three of my art journals that I started this year and abandoned in between. One of those journals is my #gmseasonofdocumenting journal from this summer. It had only 4 pages left, but I had no idea what to document there. So now I decided to redo some of my favorite pages from my other art journals and document them there. Here is one, using my current favorite color.
Keeping on exploring being and belonging for the #gmseasonofdocumenting (and #gmseasonofhabit) in my #artjournal.
Thinking a lot about boundaries at the moment: creating or claiming/re-claiming the space to just be. Thinking also how it can be so easy to disappear, swallowed whole by others' expectations, agenda and obliviousness. So boundaries: an ongoing, likely never-ending process, and a balancing act for sure. Will keep exploring.
I'm not sure this page is quite finished yet. I'm going to let it be for a while and we'll see.
I've loved playing with little pieces of painted paper for these pages. A lot of fun and a completely new (to me) way to play with shapes and colours. A big thank you to @sjrondon for the inspiration and guidance, the hangout was great!
A fact, a reminder, a mantra, a question, all into one.
Another page in my #gmseasonofdocumenting (and #gmseasonofhabit) #artjournal, which has turned out to be quite an exercise in vulnerability.
I finished this a week ago but I’ve had pages for the Colour Confidence Challenge drying everywhere and small bits of paper cutouts to pick up so pictures haven’t happened. I’m almost finished the CCC - a few days late, but time zones make it hard and the UK is even worse than America for me. In the coming days I’ll share a few of my triumphs (and disasters!) but for now this is my second go at the layers and layers prompt. #gmseasonofdocumenting #getmessyartjournal #artjournal
