I do love that feeling of complete muscle exhaustion! It was leg day this morning.

Isn’t it weird how you have a day where you are very tired, you’re vibe is low and u just don’t feel like you want to work out, even though you normally love it. 
You expect your workout to be mediocre at very best but you drag yourself into the gym and you put your head down and do it anyway. 
Sometimes those days are what they and your workout doesn’t set the world on fire and all you can say is, at least I did it. But other days life throws you that curve ball. 
Today I had this type of feeling, a bit wiped out. I did yoga shred with bands and then barefoot upper body strength training, heavy weights medium reps (barefoot because it works your ankle complex which is excellent for balance in both cross training and yoga and also I just love it because it makes me feel so earthy and connected and free, lifting heavy with no trainers feels so good). How shocked was I to break three PR’s- chest pressing 5lbs per hand heavier than ever before, overhead pressing 5lbs per hand heavier than ever and lateral pullovers 3lbs per hand more than I have before. How weird is that! 
I am not writing this to boast or show off ( notice I didn’t say how much total ), I am writing it to say, don’t give up! Even on the days where u feel terrible and/or tired, keep going because you just never know when the magic will happen. Some days yes, some days no but if you don’t keep consistent for sure you will never know. ✊🏻Power to all the lifters and the fighters and the fighters and the doers out there. We are fighting together.

The side stepping, forward and backwards movement didn't seem as useful as I hoped. Worked up to 520 on both.

Modified ski abs and in-out abs (shown on the left). This core is still struggling so modified rounds 2 and 3 to help strengthen the same areas used in the movements for the routine. The right is basketball drills ... never played ball but they make me feel like I’d have a decent jump shot 😂
