📣it’s BACK! 🎉 Learn Font Making, the online course created by Teela of @everytuesday, is now open for enrollment for one week only.
This is the exact course I (Jillian) followed step-by-step to create Twindigo, a script font released in March that continues to sell.
If you’re interested in creating and selling a font based on your own hand lettering, I can’t recommend this course enough!
Learn more about this amazing class plus some awesome BONUSES I’m offering at the link in our profile (loveleighloops.com/learnfontmaking) and let me know if you have any questions. And yes, it was 1000% with the cost!

B is for Bakeapple.
This linocut print that I created a few years back is directly inspired by the decorative woodcut type alphabets of the Louis Jean Pouchée foundry, active in the 1800s.
A bakeapple is an amber fruit that resembles a raspberry or blackberry. It typically grows in bogs and wet peaty meadows. Its name is a phonetic bastardization of the French “baie qu’appelle” or “what is this berry called”
I don’t know if you can see them, but there are little tiny stars mixed in with this floral ampersand. I’ve added a little yellow as well to make it a little more autumnal 🍂 I know I’ve been a little quiet here, I’ve been having a good clear out in preparation for, I hope, a move!🤞anybody would think it’s spring with the amount going 😆 what have you been doing with your early autumn days - Caroline 🍁✨ #stars #florals #elfpaperco #ampersand #letterarchive_symbols #goodtype #autumn
“The clearest way into the universe is through the forest wilderness.” I'm feeling good about this new quote I finished #lettering for my giant living room #chalkboard. Here’s a timelapse showing the beginning process of laying out all the type. Once again, John Muir is the author (thanks, @michelle.k.knight for the suggestion!). This quote's connection between the wilderness and the universe tugs at my heart strings. Immersing myself in nature, whether it be mountains, oceans, rivers, or forests, brings me to a state of calm and joy and peace and love that I can't even begin to explain. Mountains don't make me feel small. Forests don't make me feel lost. I feel like I am a part of it all, yet it continues to thrive and grow without me. I feel so priveledged to live in a part of the world where nature has so much to offer. #pnw
