S A T U R D A Y 🤗🖤 Another Saturday and another run in one of my favourite places, always love starting the weekend off with a good run out, even if the weather makes it hard work 🤪😇 Been doing a lot of thinking today about what plans I want to make for the winter season and what distances/terrains I want to focus on 🙊🤓 I’m already getting excited to put in the hard work and enjoy the process along the way 🤩🤘🏼Can’t believe 3 weeks tomorrow it’s the great north run! Certainly hasn’t been the build up I wanted, but I’m working with what I’ve got and giving it my best shot 🏃🏼‍♀️💪🏼 Hope you’ve all had a great Saturday 💖😍

What I ate today - 17.08.19
Breakfast: vanilla skyr with oats, cornflakes and strawberries 🍓 
Lunch: a bun with cucumber, @sriracha_fg mayo and mashed chickpeas mixed with some spices at a bit of mayo + an apple 🍎 
Snack #1: a snack bare made of figs with apple and raspberry 
Snack #2: a piece of crisp bread with more of the mashed chickpeas + raisins (not pictured)
Dinner: oven baked potato, bread with tomato and cheese, pan fried veggies, kale salad, hummus and leftover lentil patties (I ate two potions) 
Dessert: @kramersproteinis low calorie ice cream + some chocolate (not pictured)

Today I spend most of the day helping my brother cleaning vacation homes - he has a company that does a lot of home related stuff like cleaning 🌿 It was quite fun as always, but my finger is still pretty sore (I sprain it yesterday) so that was a little annoying 😅 I’m still pretty beaten up from yesterday, but I’m getting better 😜 
My mother cooked the most amazing dinner tonight, so that helped the pain a little 😋🌿 I don’t know how my mom does it, but she can cook veggies in a way I’ll never learn. They are just always cooked to perfection. I would be happy with just a huge plate of those veggies 😋🌿🥗

#healthy dinner tonight ! Lean grilled Moroccan spice chicken thighs with roasted veg and preserved lemon #couscous and of course 4-5 chopped fresh #chilli from the garden to #spice it up a bit.. again washed down with #vichycatalan the most amazing #aguacongas there is !!! #zerofat

HOW TO COPE 
Here are some tips on how to cope with anything- from ed thoughts, exercise urges, anxiety, stress, exams, etc. Which I have lived by recently and they have helped me more than anything. 
1. MUSIC - the no.1 distraction. Spend time making yourself a playlist with all your favourite songs or listen to pre made playlists. Put earphones in if you are anxious etc, because the music can override the thoughts so they are blocked out, and they eventually go. If they are still there, make yourself focus on the words by learning them, singing or anything to get the thoughts out. Music improves mood too. I listen to music that reminds me of happy times, like Disney, holidays and being with friends❤️ 2. Refresh - take a day off, have a long shower/bath, do lots of skincare/nails, change your bed sheets and clean your room. Being clean and tidy makes me feel so much better. 
3. Films- I’ve re watched the inbetweeners and grownups about a million times. It makes me laugh and relax, and helps to distract me from all the thoughts and anxiety. Find that film you love and watch it as much as you can, or start a new series (dm me for recommendations;)) also funny YouTube videos are essential. But stay away from “healthy what I eat in a day” stuff because no one needs that. 
4. People- surround yourself with people. call a friend, play with your sibling, talk to your mum or nan, go to a party, play with your pet, go for a coffee with friends. literally anything sociable helps me so much. 
5. Know your goal- have motivations. There are always so many reasons to fight. Some of mine are: my period, for a better figure (boobs and bum lol), to be happier, to eat what I want, exams and uni, travelling, friends, family and so many more. People love you and you need to find motivations. Make a mood board of them. fill it with pictures, quotes and colour and look at it every time you need. 
6. Look after yourself- no matter what you are dealing with, your health comes first. And that includes your mental health. Find something you love and do it as much as you can because that’s the best way to cope with hard things. Or have a fat cry first 😂🥴❤️❤️❤️❤️

En esta era de las comunicaciones inmediatas, donde parece haber una necesidad por contar, compartir, comunicar y publicar todo, no te dejes impresionar ni engañar por los espejismos de las redes sociales.
No todo lo que oyes y ves es cierto en este fantástico mundo de las redes. 
No siempre los que alardean de tener miles de likes en sus publicaciones estan rodeados de buenos y verdaderos amigos. En contraste hay quienes cuentan con grandes amigos y pocos “likes” en sus redes.
Hay parejas que parecen extremadamente felices, pero en el fondo lidian diariamente una relación disfuncional y difícil .
Vemos personas mostrando y sobre exponiendo sus casi perfectos cuerpos en muchas publicaciones, sin embargo en el fondo son presas de grandes inseguridades acerca de su verdadera valía.
Otros alardean de estilos de vida lujosos y sibaritas y en el fondo luchan con grandes deudas económicas. 
Los medios sociales son una gran herramienta para el desarrollo en muchos campos, pero son también espejismos que han despertado un comportamiento errado donde la imagen y la apariencia parecen tener demasiada relevancia.
No te engañes, recuerda: las apriencias son solo eso, apariencias.
La vida se trata de ser real, genuino, honesto, generoso y bondadoso.
Deja que tus verdaderas virtudes sean descubiertas por los demas sin ruidos ni exageraciones.
Más esencia, menos apariencia!

En esta era de las comunicaciones inmediatas, donde parece haber una necesidad por contar, compartir, comunicar y publicar todo, no te dejes impresionar ni engañar por los espejismos de las redes sociales. No todo lo que oyes y ves es cierto en este fantástico mundo de las redes. No siempre los que alardean de tener miles de likes en sus publicaciones estan rodeados de buenos y verdaderos amigos. En contraste hay quienes cuentan con grandes amigos y pocos “likes” en sus redes. Hay parejas que parecen extremadamente felices, pero en el fondo lidian diariamente una relación disfuncional y difícil . Vemos personas mostrando y sobre exponiendo sus casi perfectos cuerpos en muchas publicaciones, sin embargo en el fondo son presas de grandes inseguridades acerca de su verdadera valía. Otros alardean de estilos de vida lujosos y sibaritas y en el fondo luchan con grandes deudas económicas. Los medios sociales son una gran herramienta para el desarrollo en muchos campos, pero son también espejismos que han despertado un comportamiento errado donde la imagen y la apariencia parecen tener demasiada relevancia. No te engañes, recuerda: las apriencias son solo eso, apariencias. La vida se trata de ser real, genuino, honesto, generoso y bondadoso. I saw this new doctor Tuesday morning, she called me today telling me she needs me in surgery tomorrow. I was like wait what, so fast. She said yes, we need to take care of this asap, We need you to get better there is no time to waste. I literally got off the phone in tears because I've waited for almost two months to get something, at least some sort of treatment that will help me get better. I've prayed along with those who are close to me...endless amounts of prayers have been done to give me some healing. Although I'm scared to be going into surgery tomorrow, I know God will be there guiding the doctors and protecting me. After not getting the answers I needed and dealing with endless amount of pain and no progress. I decided to seek a second opinion and transfer my care to a new doctor. I saw this new doctor Tuesday morning, she called me today telling me she needs me in surgery tomorrow. I was like wait what, so fast. She said yes, we need to take care of this asap, We need you to get better there is no time to waste. I literally got off the phone in tears because I've waited for almost two months to get something, at least some sort of treatment that will help me get better. I've prayed along with those who are close to me...endless amounts of prayers have been done to give me some healing.
