- 250ml Almond Milk
- 1 Banana
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp of Peanut Butter

Rotating your milks - Having diversity in your diet is important from a nutritional perspective. Consuming different varieties of milks is one way to increase diversity, and to keep things from getting boring!
When choosing milk, pick one with only a few ingredients and ensure there are no gums, thickeners, preservatives or sugar added. Or, try making your own plant based milk by soaking then blending organic nuts, seeds or oats in filtered water, then strain and keep in a glass container in the fridge.

Soy milk is high in protein and calcium. It makes a good replacement milk for tea and coffee. Ensure to choose a soy milk made with whole organic soya beans and not protein isolates.

Boyf thought it’d be funny to switch weights 😂 I have had sharp wrist pains randomly for the last ten years and today is the worst I’ve ever had - it’s been nonstop since last night and hasn’t gotten better since. I have tendinitis from my golf career in high school. (I even had to leave work early because I couldn’t type - I couldn’t even pee cuz it hurt to pull my pants down hahaha and I had to brush my teeth with my left hand and turn on the car ignition with my left.) Thankful for health; injuries that affect my day to day really put things into perspective.
I’ve also gained like 2-3lbs cuz I haven’t been eating on track. Actually it’s been a while since I’ve been tracking how I’ve been eating. And I haven’t been lacking sleep for a month too. Which definitely affects my mood and productivity. Finding BALANCE and being mindful of PRIORITIES is so hard! I hope you know if you feel overwhelmed in life, you’re not alone!!!!! We’re all in this together. Good days and bad days come and go, but loving and encouraging one another should never cease. CONSISTENCY is key - keep going and outdo others in love. You never know what someone just came from or what they’re going home to every day - let’s be kind and continue to help one another be the best we can be!

Day 1: It went pretty well. I forgot to check the salad dressing label before putting it on my salad, but in the end it was only 0.3 grams of sugar, so not bad. Today I learned how many things in my cupboard have some kind of artificial sweetener, like sucralose.
Day 2: I try to stay away from refined sugar in general, but besides the salad dressing, I found other things in my pantry with sugar in them that I didn’t expect, like “light” coffee creamer.

I’ve been hearing a lot of this “Im off SUGAR” bullshit, It should ideally make me happy ‘cos I don’t have to share my deserts anymore. But I rather come out with the truth and let you all digest it slowly.
Jaggery is NOT a substitute for SUGAR, My Sugar Craving Besties!! It’s only gonna keep you craving for more SUGAR. 🥵
Jaggery is not refined, hence the absorption rate is much slower and its rich in Iron and other minerals, aids in digestion’s, reduced Blood pressure..blah!blah and Blaaaaaah!
when it comes to describing it as nutritious.It's essentially still sugar, Jaggery contains almost 80% Sucrose.You would also need to eat a lot of jaggery to get a meaningful amount of nutrients, which you can get in much greater amounts from other sources.
So, while it may be slightly "healthier" to replace refined sugar with a sweetener that has more vitamins and minerals, it's not really advisable to add jaggery to your diet. #phantomboss
Try switching to Agave Nectar or Stevia, which is readily available in stores, but it doesn’t have a weird after taste.
Important point to note : You don’t really have to quit sugar, Just don’t get too addicted to it. Use it moderately in small doses. After all, we only LIVE ONCE 😈
Had to get that pre workout tonight. Long day I was tired and didn’t want to get it in. Once that hit me I was ready to go. Doubling up is hard but it will be worth it. Week 5 is only started but it feels good to get it in. Keep motivating each other. Let’s get it. Keep pushing harder everyday for the goals that you want.
Athletics day at school. A great fun day for the kids. But this day carries a whole different meaning for me.
Three years ago (not the exact day) I was attending athletics day, unable to walk properly due to pain in my left abdomen...but I went knowing I was seeing my GP at 12pm. Little did I know that was the start of this journey.
That day my GP thoroughly examined me and knew something wasn’t right. She sent me to A&E for urgent tests to see what was wrong! I was examined, admitted for the night for observation and an ultrasound. Morning came and I was discharged.
My discharge notes state I had viral symptoms and to present to GP is pain returns!
The pain never returned!
Lucky I had a very good GP. She sent me for a private ultrasound a few days later...where they found a tumour in my bowel.
Athletics day is quite bitter sweet. I am so greatful to my medical team who have kept me alive...but I also know that if I didn’t have medical insurance to get a quick diagnosis I wouldn’t be here today to see my baby’s last athletics day at primary school.
I was struck by slight anxiety this morning while walking from my car to the school. To all those people that I chatted with today I thank you for making my day feel normal...like nothing was wrong...when in my head there were a thousand thoughts racing around reflecting how I’m still here to enjoy this beautiful day.
