Honey Garlic Slow Cooker Chicken! 😍😍❤️
. (Serves 6-8)⁣
📝INGREDIENTS📝⁣
8 Chicken Thighs⁣
1/2 Cup Honey⁣
1/2 Cup Soy Sauce⁣
4 Cloves Garlic (Chopped)⁣
1 Tsp Dried Basil⁣
1 Tsp Dried Oregano⁣
1/2 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes⁣
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper⁣
1 Lb Baby Red Potatoes⁣
1 Lb Baby Carrots⁣
1 Lb Green Beans⁣
⁣
👩‍🍳PREPARATION👨‍🍳⁣
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, garlic, basil, oregano, red pepper flakes, and black pepper.⁣
2. In a slow cooker, place 4 of the chicken thighs, and pour over half the sauce you prepared.⁣
3. Add the potatoes and carrots to the cooker, followed by 4 more chicken thighs, and pour over the remaining sauce.⁣
4. Cook for 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high, and in the last 30 minutes add the green beans.⁣
5. Remove the chicken and place on greaseproof paper on top of a baking tray.⁣
6. Broil for 3-4 minutes to nicely caramelise the chicken.⁣
7. Serve and enjoy 🌱

I refuse to pay $7 for a Boost smoothie so I make my own at home!

It's so easy and cheap if you have a blender. I buy frozen berries in bulk so it works out even cheaper!

Easy berry smoothie recipe (2 large cups):
🍓 1 cup frozen strawberry 🍓 1 cup frozen blueberry
🍓 1 cup milk
🍓 1/2 cup water
🍓 sprig of basil (only if you like it. I find that basil goes really well with berries and love the combi)

If you would like to power-up your smoothie, you can add flax seed meal and chia seeds. 💪
