Fall decisions... Craisin for Apple or Pumpkin Smoothie... 🤔 🍁🍎 🎃

A little bit of what I've been eating lately. Have not been tracking or limiting myself in what I can eat. I've had hot cheetoes, popcorn, cookies, nachos.. while I'm listing them I'm like "dang girl, I thought you were supposed to be being healthier".... although it doesn't sound like I have been better, I'm better than I WAS. Spreading the bad choices out over days rather than trying to get it all in in one cheat day. I am learning it's okay to have a little, live life and enjoy it. I'm trying to concentrate more on keeping #insulinresistance under control while living a normal life. I am still trying to choose better options as I go and am maintaining pretty well. What I'm trying to focus on right now is portion control. Having control over binge eating is something I have struggled with for way too long.

Who needs some hydration tips? 💦💦💦⁣

For some reason my water habit is always creeping its head up and being difficult. I can get into the rhythm, but then any change in routine throws me off course 🤯 I end-up constantly re-evaluating my day to see where I can get down my water with the most ease. I have a feeling I might be one of the top hydration hackers out there at this point, so here’s a few tips from me to you:⁣
⁣
1.	Drink a big ol’ glass first thing. As in a pint, before you pour that first cup of ☕️. Keep a glass right next to the coffee pot and you won’t forget in your morning bleariness.⁣
2.	Grab a jug that can hold your total ounces for the day, and pour from there into whatever more reasonably sized container you’re rockin. It’ll be an ice-cold refresher and you’ll never lose track of how much you have left to drink.⁣
3.	My newest addition to the line-up is chugging an entire bottle right when I finish my workout 😅 I can’t drink during or I get some serious cramping, but I know I’m losing a ton through my sweat (and I’m a sweater fam). ⁣
Bonus: Represent with a cute AF water bottle. 🐱 mom all the way.⁣

The real 🔑 is to make sure you’re chugging multiple times per day. Nobody’s got time for dainty sips when well over half our body is made up of water, and we need to keep that ‘ish fresh and replenished. ⁣

My before and after pictures isn’t about the numbers on the scale! 😉
Many think that a HEALTH journey is ONLY about losing weight. 
But in reality, the most important “results” are ALL internal. 
The girl on the left in 2017; -Had confidence issues -All her life thought she was fat -Was always worried about her weight and on yo-yo diets
-Didn’t value herself as much as she should -Had high blood pressure and adrenal fatigue -Couldn’t last all night at a party -Had aches and pains of a 90 year old -Daily headaches & many other symptoms -She really thought she was dying
-Was never satisfied -And was always un-happy with her life

After being diagnosed with Lyme disease I embarked upon a journey of not only holistic modalities to improve my health, but also a journey of self-awareness. 
I purposely seeked for professional help along with coaching, spirituality and more. 
I didn’t just sit around and dwelled over my life. I took action. 
Today, thanks to all my internal work, I’m able to live my life with so much peace and grace. 💕

The number on the scale hasn’t moved, but my energy, and high vibeness are thru the roof! 🌟 -I’m now confident in who I am, what I do, and what I look like
-I value myself and put myself 1st -I always follow my gut -I see the best in everything and feel positive -My blood pressure is always on point
-And my symptoms keep improving every single day

Not saying that losing weight isn’t important if it’s affecting your health, but to focus just on that number is not a way to live.

Getting to know your body and doing monthly self breast exams is a way to detect early signs like small lumps and bumps that can be painful or even painless that wasn’t there before. This is mainly for me to shame myself into eating healthily... if I feel like I have to post my meals (which I absolutely hate doing but this is what my life has come to) then I might stop being a fat bitch and start being healthy! Or not. Who knows. I'm not following any sort of 'diet' plan as I know damn well I'll never stick to them. I know what I've got to eat (or in my case, not eat) to be healthy. Anyway. Today is a Tuesday and I didn't take any photos of my meals yesterday so you'll just have to believe me when I say I ate healthily, because I did. Apart from the two squares of chocolate that were practically forced down my throat at therapy. But that was against my will so it doesn't count, right?

P.s. can we all collectively agree to stop using the word 'diet' as a way to refer to changing eating habits in a bid to lose weight? Nobody 'goes' on a diet, they follow a new dietary regime/change their dietary habits.

This is mainly for me to shame myself into eating healthily... if I feel like I have to post my meals (which I absolutely hate doing but this is what my life has come to) then I might stop being a fat bitch and start being healthy!
