I'll never be able to take that night back. I can only hope that you over came it in your own way and dealt with it in your healthiest way. 
I stopped asking if you were okay because you always seemed so strong. You were always one to reason with me - or the one to calm things down. After the accident my whole body felt like a piece of foil being crumpled into a tiny ball. 
When she died, I felt the life slowly leaving my body. A part of me died that day. 
So did my old life... along with its memories.
Talking about seemed so... basic. 
Talking wasn't good enough. 
There was nothing to say. 
I guess now, after all this time - I owe you an apology for disappearing and making you deal with it alone. 
I am selfish in that I am glad I was never alone.

When someone we love is having difficulty and is giving us a bad time, it’s better to explore the cause than to criticize the action.

Helping others is my job now that I am present and concious because of the process of the Steps. 
I try to determine what is going on with them rather than reacting to their behavior. If I react I am adding to their stress. If I explore and extend love and understanding then I will be able to be of service and get out of myself. I cannot help another without helping myself. I cannot hurt another without hurting myself.

When someone we love is having difficulty and is giving us a bad time, it’s better to explore the cause than to criticize the action. Helping others is my job now that I am present and concious because of the process of the Steps. I try to determine what is going on with them rather than reacting to their behavior. If I react I am adding to their stress. If I explore and extend love and understanding then I will be able to be of service and get out of myself. I cannot help another without helping myself. Everyone tells me a banana. But why, if it has more calories? 
Because deep inside you know, your body knows what to do when you eat a banana.

When you eat a muffin, that has been filled with chemicals (& LASTS MONTHS), your body does not know what to do with it.

It then decides to STORE it as fat.

Fat free = full of sugar

Sugar free = full of hidden sugars.

Your ego lies, your body doesn't.

Look at your hair & nails, are they growing & strong?

Does your skin have #eczema #acne #psoriasis allergies?

Your body communicates this way when you starve it of the needed vitamins & minerals. 
If you take action when your body whispers, you won't have to hear it scream.

1. Reduce buying food w labels (you will stop counting calories for sure). By labels I mean anything that does NOT expire within 3 days. 
2. Eat fruits, vegetables, nuts, water.

3. Do an exercise that you ENJOY. Forcing yourself to do something you don't like it's soul destroying.

4. Learn to say "no" to tempting foods = check labels, it's full of terrifying unknown stuff.

5. If you fill your emotional need w a hobby, you won't be looking for happiness in the fridge. It's never too late to start to #dance

6. #Listen closely, is your liver happy with you? Is your heart happy with you? Or are you suffocating them with fat foods, creating the perfect storm for a #heartattack ?

7. Quit alcohol, it's a depressor, full of calories & damn expensive. 
8. Quit/reduce #caffeine it irritates you more for no reason. Nobody needs caffeine, anyone can quit it. Watch out for the migraine withdrawal symptom.. 9. Quit drugs. Your body will only tolerate that much.
