Hey everyone. So I have been a bit slack lately in posting for the last few weeks. So I thought, I'd do a post about... The man behind the lens. Me. .
Hey all, my name is Chris and I'm the man behind Rogue Wolf Images. Fitness and photography are both a passion of mine. I have my cert 3 & 4 in fitness, my AWF club weightlifting/sports power coach and Crossfit level 1 trainer. I love training and I love our community and capturing the moment, the PRs, the anger of missing a lift, the happiness, the pain faces, all of it. I also love to capture landscapes, sunrises and sunsets are my favourite. There's something about them that is just relaxing. .
I've got to be apart of an amazing media team @downundercrossfitchampionship for this group of humans are such an amazing group to work alongside with. Can't wait for the 2020 Sanctional at Wollongong. Send your expressions of interest to them to compete. #plug
Rogue Wolf Images is not my full time job...... Not yet anyways.
My official full time job is as an Emergency Manager, hence the few weeks I've been quiet. I have been working with NSWRFS in the current bushfire situation out of the HQ at Olympic Park. I can't give enough praise to the volunteers and everyone that has been and still is involved with fighting the current bushfires..
So that is me in a nutshell...

It's a tough thing to put yourself out there. There's a LOT of pressure to 'show up' and it seems like it comes so naturally for the people you see doing it every day. When you're a business owner, being seen is a way of building closer relationships with your audience... so it makes good brand sense to do. .
But just because it doesn't come naturally doesn't mean it should be a struggle. I've had a few epiphanies about this, because as an introvert (which, btw, doesn't mean shy or have no friends 🙅♀️), it can take a bit to put myself out there. Here's what I've learnt: .
💁♀️ "Show up" when you have the energy / are in the right frame of mind. Try not to put too much pressure on yourself to be “always on'”. Record a few videos at a time and schedule them in. .
💁♀️ Follow a #storyadaychallenge like the one I'm doing, hosted by @haleyberryman__ to get you in the zone and habit of fronting up regularly. Having other people doing it with you can help keep you accountable too. .
💁♀️ Remember you're not vain if you post pictures of yourself. Having a photoshoot with a fab photographer (like @lxocreativestudio who did my shoot) to help you relax and enjoy the process sure does help. Then you'll want to share them with the world! .
💁♀️ The world needs what you have to share. You have something special and unique to bring to the world, so don't be afraid to show yourself... .
Brené Brown said "It’s so scary to show up. It feels dangerous to be seen, it’s terrifying. But it is not as scary, dangerous or terrifying as getting to the end of our lives and thinking—what if I would have shown up What would have been different"
